74. Not an Easy Task

Yoon Hae Ra...

The café... Few days ago...

I fed a very different poison to Ji Won. It was also by water, as he did to my dad. The poison that I gave him would paralyze him after say 7 hours. and that would be like 8:15 pm at night.

Night 8:15...

I dressed casually in black and took a saw with me to finish off Kim Ji Won. I knew that my brother was out with Nam Soon. I had planned well to kill him that night. I had not expected Heartina to be there. I hid into the large cupboard at the corner and kept the door slightly open to keep a close eye on Kim Ji Won. Then, I heard Kim Ji Won and Heartina coming in. Heartina went into the dressing room and the door was closed behind her. I felt this was my right opportunity to kill him. I came out and threw a dagger at his knee. He yelped with pain but did not cry out loud. I was all dressed in black and wore gloves for safety. But I had my face exposed.

"Who is it?" asked Kim Ji Won in a whisper. I felt a glee on seeing him like a fish out of water.

"It is me, Hae Ra", I sniggered.

"Hae Raya, why are you doing this to me?"

"You killed So Yi Jin for me and one day you would kill me for someone else, you swine", I said through clenched teeth.

"Please..." he pleaded.

"What? Please? You poisoned my dad", I shouted. The dressing room was a sound proof one and so, I was sure no one would hear me out.

"It was Eun Sang", he lied to me.

"Do not lie even when you are a step away from your death", I whispered.

"Please spare me", he pleaded.

"No... Never. I am going to cut you from your stomach to your heart. I am going to tear your heart apart, as your heart is a ditch of evil thoughts", I said and slowly placed the saw over his navel.

"I will never try to kill you Hae Ra. You love me", he said to distract me.

"What? Love? Do you at least know the meaning of the word 'love'?" I asked him with a laugh.

"Hae Raya, you know that I love you so much", he pleaded.

"You love me only because you would get power, authority and money. Am I right? I heard all your dialogues about me in that phone", I said with my eyes and face becoming red with anger.

"What phone? What video?" he acted.

"Oh! I see how well you could act. It was a video taken by someone to really save me from a hell named Kim Ji Won and I am a hacker you see, I knew the password to open the media and I saw it", I sneered and laughed out aloud.

"Everything will get recorded in the CCTV", he said panting.

He gave me a point. I didn't know that there was a CCTV in that room till that moment. I secretly thanked him for telling me about it. I decided not to show about my ignorance about CCTV to him. Hence, I started acting.

"I will erase that too, you devil", I shouted at him.

"Eun Sang said the phone does not work here", he said. I laughed aloud again.

"Yes, the phone does not work. The meaning of this is that, you cannot use that phone to make calls but, you could use it for other purposes. You fool! You must have destroyed the evidence", I said and planted the saw into his stomach and then said, "The truth will always come out at the end. It will fight its way back" and I pierced his navel with my saw. He cried in pain. For the first time in my life, I killed a person and I felt elated about it. I couldn't help but laughed out loud.

"Good Bye Kim Ji Won", I said and then pulled up the saw till his neck and he gave a blood curdling shriek and finally died. I watched for few moments confirming his death. Then, I looked around to find the CCTV. It was there in one of the corners.

After his death, I saw a creature, dressed fully in black coming in. I was afraid and I went into the cupboard and peeked out. I saw her taking out a device, and pressing it. She looked up at CCTV and I looked up too. The light in it was gone, which means, it is not capturing the data from now. But, it would have captured me while killing that fool. I must erase it. Who is this person? Probably, another person with some vendetta on Ji Won, I smiled and that figure, came to the center and saw him dead. It dropped a paper and at that moment, Heartina was unlocking the makeup room door and the figure hurried outside and pressed the device again, which means the CCTV is on now. Heartina spotted her, and the figure dropped a clip and Heartina picked up. She was not looking at my side and so, I searched for his laptop to erase the data. His bag lay in the spot where he usually put and I grabbed it and went into the cupboard and locked myself in.

I locked because, the light from the laptop would expose me and as expected the next minute, Heartina and Young came into the room and I heard different noises.

I sat inside the cupboard and opened the laptop. The laptop asked for a password and I knew that fool changed his password daily. What would be his password today? I thought hard. I couldn't guess anything. But, there was always a hacking option. I started with simple hacking tricks but, I couldn't break in yet. The time was 9.00 PM by then and I couldn't figure out still.

I remembered his conversations with me. I knew he would never disclose his method of keeping passwords in his laptop to me, as he didn't love me at all. What would his password be? I thought.

I typed 'Kim Ji Won', 'Ji Won', 'Cha Eun Sang', 'Eun Sang',' Hae Ra', 'Young' and all the known people's names. It was a total failure. The system got locked for typing wrong password and I had to wait. What do I do now? I started to sweat profusely and I was anxious now. Should I steal the laptop? I wondered but, if someone at home found it, it would become a problem.

I got a message in my phone and it was from a site that I had signed up for learning hacking. The mail had a new hacking technique introduced and I went through the entire contents. The procedure was simple. The hacker must write a code from his system and then hack another system. I thought this must be my way, as the Almighty had sent it to me at the neck of the moment.

But, I didn't have my laptop. What do I do? I connected my phone to an online emulator of the same software and began typing the code and I knew Ji Won's laptop had his name under registration. Hence, I gave his device's name in the place of the device that I was about to hack. I executed the code and I waited. Within the next 2 minutes, I had his password in my phone.

That fool's password was 'KCGYCstudio1988'

I wondered what KCGYC was and then I thought it must be the abbreviation of Kim Ji Won, Cha Eun Sang, Go Nam Soon, Yoon Min Joon and Choi Young. I went in and opened the CCTV footages and to my great horror, there was a lock again. What the hell? I cursed.

It was asking a retina scan now and I wondered how I could get that. I closed the laptop and listened to the voices outside. I pushed open the cupboard door slightly. I saw the police and the other guys looking for finger prints. I heard that, there was no trace of finger print. I gave myself a pat, on hearing this. I waited.

9:45 PM...

Everyone left. I pushed to cupboard door open and peeked out. No one was there. I checked if his body was there and it was. I thanked God and prayed for my safety. I went with the laptop near Ji Won, who was staring somewhere.

I placed the scanner in front of his eyes, and the scanner scanned his retina. I finally broke into the records and erased till it was just him fixing up lights. I then decided to remove the retina scanning software. I was sure, no one knew he had a CCTV in his studio and so, obviously no one would know about the retina scanning software. I uninstalled it and so, now the CCTV footages were open to all on opening the laptop. I also changed his password as 'KiMjIwOn&IncredibleWorld' and so, no one would suspect me.

I was very happy with my work. I thanked God for helping me through my work and though I knew killing was a crime, I felt elated to save people from psychopaths like Kim Ji Won.

I hurried to the dressing room and changed into one of the clothes there and rushed out. I must act all worried, to avoid suspect. But, I thought of surrendering soon, but not now.
