41. The Party

Heartina...

I pointed Hae Ra to the Ha Myung. The groom was very much relieved to find a lady as beautiful as Heartina. She looked great in her white ball gown with large blood red rose patterns. He immediately thought he had fallen for her beauty. She was gorgeous and immediately he thanked God for giving a chance to meet this sweet lady. At that time, I showed him the waiter and then the waiter took the red juice to Hae Ra.

Ha Myung came from the straight opposite side of Hae Ra. She looked at him but did not show any sign of interest from far. As per the plan, the waiter came there and was about to spill the juice. Yoon Min Joon, Go Nam Soon and I were all watching from a corner to see if their plan was successful.

Right at the moment, Ha Myung did not pull her out of the way but carried her in his arms saving her at the correct moment. She was startled and then saw that the waiter was about to spill the juice over her, she gave a small smile to him. Ha Myung put her down and returned her smile.

"I'm Ki Ha Myung. I'm sorry for lifting you out of the way without your permission. Please accept my apologies for my rash action", Ha Myung spoke exactly what I had asked him too but with more emotions and huskiness in his voice.

Hae Ra thought he was gorgeous and after hearing his voice and words, she felt drawn towards him. She smiled after a long time. Also, she thought Ha Myung looked so much like her favorite pop star and felt immediately drawn towards him.

"No not at all. Thank you so much. My dress would have been spoilt if you had not pulled me out. I'm Yoon Hae Ra. I'm pleased to meet you" she told with a mellifluous voice.

"Are you alone?" Ha Myung asked as though he was surprised and she nodded.

"My lady! You look gorgeous. I can't believe my ears that you are alone. Are you sure you are alone?" he said with mock innocence and she laughed out loud and nodded indicating a "yes" as her response. Min Joon had tears of joy on seeing his sister laugh after a really long time.

"I am alone too. Can you be my date today?" he asked and she stared at him for a long moment.

Yoon Min Joon, Go Nam Soon and I, who were all watching from a corner, we were all silent listening and then saw Yoon Hae Ra extending her arm slowly to him.

Our hearts gave a warm flutter on seeing Yoon Hae Ra happy again. As Ha Myung and Hae Ra walked towards the hotel, Ha Myung turned back and gave a thumbs-up to us. We all beamed at him. Then Yoon Min Joon went for some important work and Nam Soon was called inside as he would be receiving the award soon and I started to roam all over the place. I went inside to sit with other people and Choi Young signaled me to come and sit near him. I was happy to sit next to him. We both sat close and watched the ceremony going on there. Yoon Min Joon joined us later after about half an hour.

Then Go Nam Soon was given the award for the best male model of the year and we all stood up when he received his award. He beamed at us. Then, the dinner was served outside in the garden and so Choi Young took my arm and I tagged along.

"Heartina, can I speak to you alone?" he asked and so we loaded our plates with food and I followed him to a secluded area so that, there was nobody around to eavesdrop in our conversation.

"Tell me Young"

"Do you remember me?"

"What? You are always here and why would I forget about you?"

"I'm talking about my first meet with you"

"You mean in Macau at the café?"

"No... No. I met you before in Seoul itself"
