James's POV

"So man, what's the new girl like?" West and my other friend Eldon asks me excidedly at lunch.

"Nothing worth looking at. Nerd with an attitude." I mutter. I look up and see her walk in. "There she is now."

"Woah." West laughs. We watch as she cautiously makes her way across the crowded cafeteria. A cheerleader that I dated, like, a week ago, sticks her leg out and trips her up. Everyone laughs.

"She gave you attitude?" Eldon asks.

"Yup." I grumble.

"She clearly doesn't know who she's messing with." West remarks.

"That's what I told her. " I mutter.

"I think we need to teach her a lesson or two." West smirks.

Me and the guys, along with Stephanie and Michelle, the guys girlfriends, go to the local coffee shop after school.

"Did you see the new girl?" Stephanie asks when we sit down.

"And did you see what she was wearing? She's such a loser!" Michelle laughs.

"And, she gave the boy attitude in bio." West tells them, gesturing to me.

"She'll be ruined by next week if she doesn't watch what she's doing." Michelle sighs but then starts to laugh.

"Oh my god!" Stephanie gasps.

"What?" We all ask.

"It's her!" She points across the room, and sure enough, it's Riley.

Riley's POV

"Hey Riley, can you serve table five?" Maria, my boss, asks me.

"Yeah, of course." I say happily. I turn around but freeze. In the booth are sitting three guys from school, including that jerk, James, from my bio class, along with two girls.

"Go on." Maria tells me. I give her a weak smile and slowly walk over to the table. I plaster a fake smile on my face and approach them. They all smirk at me, and I can tell this isn't going to end well.

"What can I get you all?" I ask. They all laugh and I gulp.

"I'll have a coffee." The blonde says. I start to write it down, until she quickly says,

"Actually wait, I want a frappe, wait cappuccino."

I start to write that down, but then she says,

"No, I want a green tea."

"So, a green tea?" I ask.

"No, a cappuccino!" She snaps at me. I sigh. They all continue to give me their orders, changing it just as I write it down. At the end of it, I'm still confused on what they all want.

"So, is that all?" I ask.

"Yes!" The dark haired girl snaps. I sigh and walk away.

James's POV

"Oh my God." The girls giggle.

"How stupid is she?" I laugh along.
