James's POV

I looked at Riley in shock.

"I, uh, don't think that's a good idea Ri." I tell her.

"Please." She pouts. "You would let any other one of your girlfriends."

"If anything happens to you, it would be my fault. And I know for a fact that your father will tear a strip off me."

"Please!" She begs. I look around before handing her the bottle.

"Fine, here." I say. She smiles triumphantly before taking a sip.

Riley's POV

The taste of alcohol burned in my mouth. It tasted odd and had a weird aftertaste. But I liked it. After taking the bottle from my lips, James quickly snatched the bottle from my hands.

"Okay, that's enough." He says.

"Fine." I mutter.

"Riley, your not getting anymore, so stop trying." He says in a soft yet stern tone.

"Okay, okay." I mumble.

James's POV

After two and a half hours, I had lost Riley.

"Hey man, did you see Riley?" I ask West.

"Over there with Michelle and Stephanie." He replies, pointing across the room. I peer over and see Riley with the girls. And a beer in her hand.

"Um, where did she get the beer?" I ask nervously.

"Oh, that's the fourth one I gave to her." He replies.

"What? Are you crazy man?!" I snap.

"Relax. I just wanted to see the poor girl drunk." He says with a smirk.

"God, how stupid are you?!" I growl before stomping over to Riley.

I was mad. I was mad that West gave her the alcohol, and I was mad at Riley that she accepted it after I told her not to have any more. She looks up when I approach her.

"James!" She giggles. She jumps up, almost falling, and throws herself at me. I hold her still.

"Riley..." I start.

"James." She giggles.

"Did West give you the beer?" I inquire. She looks at the bottle in her hand and laughs.

"Yeah, it's good." She slurs.

"Okay, but you can't have any more." I tell her, reaching for the bottle. She pulls it away.

"No!" She yells.

"Riley, you're drunk." I tell her.

"No I'm not. I'm perfectly fine." She slurs, stumbling as she tries to walk. She takes another swig of beer.

"Riley I'm serious. Give me the bottle." I demand.

"No!" She shouts as me. I grab her and swing her over my shoulder. The bottle drops and smashes on the floor.

"Let me down!" She demands, hitting my back. I ignore her pleas and carry her to my truck. I sit her down in the passengers seat and strap her in. Than I go on my side and get in. Riley's leans over and tries to kiss me, but I push her away.

"Are you mad at me?" She asks. I sigh, knowing there was no use to yell at her. Afterall, she probaly won't remember this tomorrow.

"No I'm not mad." I sigh again.

"I love you you know that?" She giggles. I smile weakly and start the engine.

"I love you too." I reply with a chuckle as I begin to drive.

"I love you so much! Even if your mom hates me, I love you! And I think you love me too!" She giggles.
