James's POV

Riley comes back with the drinks, but the guys insisted on leaving.

"Here, keep the change. You look like you need it." Michelle scoffs, throwing a twenty dollar bill at her. Riley looked stunned, standing there with the tray of drinks in her hand. Stephanie makes a quick movement and pushes the tray, spilling it all over Riley. Riley gasps.

"Oops! My bad!" She giggles. Riley goes to pick up the money on the floor, but slips on the spilled drinks, and falls face first on the floor. My friends laugh, but I don't. They drag me out of the coffee shop. I look back at Riley on the floor as I walk.

"Oh my God, did you see her! I think she was about to cry!" Michelle laughs when we're outside.

"She's pathetic." Stephanie giggles. West turns to me and smirks.

"Ask her out on a date." Is all he says.

"What? No!" I yell.

"I dare you to ask her out on a date." He repeats. I was known for never backing down on dares, and no matter how much I wanted to, I wasn't backing down on this one either.

"What if she says no?" I ask.

"Ah, here's the catch. You have to keep asking her, until she says yes." He explains.

"Really?" I sigh.

"Yup!" He smirks.

"Fine. I'll be right back." I grumble as I head back in the coffee shop.
