Riley's POV
I was more than happy that I don't have work today. I want to hang out with James.
"Hi everyone." I say as I walk into the kitchen.
"Hey Ri." Emily says.
I make myself a cup of coffee and take a seat at the table.
"You should bring James around today so your sister can meet him." Dad suggests. I nearly choke on my coffee.
"What? No!" I shriek.
"Yes!" Emily squeals.
"Bring him over for supper." Dad says.
"Yeah, that sounds great!" Emily gushes.
"No, it doesn't." I growl.
"C'mon Ri. I need to meet the guy my baby sister is dating." Emily jokes. I glare at her.
"Fine, I'll ask him." I mutter.
"Maybe I'll ask some of my coworkers to drop in too." Dad pipes up.
"No, you are not!" I shriek.
"Why not?" He asks.
"Because it's not that big a deal!" I say with a 'duh' tone.
"Yes it is" Emily says. "It's your first love!"
"Shut up!" I squeal.
She and dad continue to tease me until I'm chasing Emily around the kitchen.
"Riley's in love, Riley's in love!" She sings.

James's POV
RILEY-Hey
I smile at the text.
JAMES-Hey Ri
RILEY-Are you busy tonight?
JAMES-No why?
RILEY-My dad wants you to come over tonight. Can you come?
JAMES-Yeah sure
RILEY-Okay talk to you later
I smile to myself and put away my phone.
"Hey mom?" I speak up.
"Yes?"
"I'm going over to Riley's for supper tonight." I say.
"Who's Riley?" Dad asks as our maid sets a cup of coffee infront of him.
"My girlfriend." I reply.
"Oh, the newest one of the week." He says, rolling his eyes while he sips his coffee.
"Look, I don't play that many girls." I say defensively.
"Oh, so how long do you plan on keeping this one around?" He asks.
"Awhile." I say proudly. He chuckles a little.
"You are one hard case." He says.
~~~~~
I knock on the front door of Riley's house. She opens it and I greet her with a little peck on the lips.
"Hey." I say.
"Come in." She says.
As I step in, she whispers,
"By the way, it was my dad who forced you to come over tonight, not me."
"It's alright." I chuckle. I start making my way to the kitchen, remembering it from when I broke into the house a couple years ago, when Riley says,
"How do you know where to go?"
"Um, a friend of mine used to live here." I say quickly.
She looks at me oddly for a minute before nodding and we continue to walk into the kitchen. We're greeted by two people.
"James, you know my dad." She says, gesturing to the man I met last Friday night. "And this is my sister Emily."
"Hi everyone." I say, giving a small wave.
"So, you're James." A blonde haired girl, who I now know is Emily, Riley's sister, says.
"Yeah, that would be me." I say. Her sweet smiling face turns into a scowling glare.
"If you dare hurt my little sister-"
"Emily, knock it off." Riley cuts in. Emily seems to back off a bit.
"Come on." Riley says and leads me to I don't even know where.
