Riley's POV
After the conversation about James and I between my father, sister and I diminished, I decided to go back up to my room, curling up lonesomly where James and I had lid.
Was it bad that I had fallen for James? Was I going to turn into one of those other girls? Was it bad that I already missed him?
RILEY-Hey
JAMES-Hey Riles
RILEY-What's up?
JAMES-Nothing much, you?
RILEY-Nothing. I just miss you already
JAMES-I miss you too baby
James's POV
"Who are you texting?" Eldon asks curiously.
"Um, just my mom." I muttered, lying.
"Oh, is that so? Than why are you smiling so much?" West inquires.
Was I smiling that much?
In a quick moment, he grabs my phone, reading some of the conversation out loud.
"Hey!" I scream.
"I miss you baby? Riles?" He chuckles, his eyebrows raised in surprise.
"Yeah, I call her Riles sometimes." I mumbled, feeling slightly ashamed. He bursts into laughter and tosses my phone back at me.
"Cute." Is all he says.

Sneaking in after midnight wasn't easy. The slightest creak could bring the whole house down.
I had just add it up the stairs, and not even half ways down the hall when I heard,
"And where do you think your going?"
I slowly turn around, scared of seeing my mother, but instead see my eleven year old brother Jacob.
"Jacob, just go to bed, and forget you seen me." I hiss in a whisper.
"On one condition." He says with a smirk. Well I know where this is going...
"Fifty bucks." He says firmly.
"No way! Fifteen bucks!" I argue.
"Thirty!"
"Twenty!"
"Twenty five!"
"Twenty!"
"Twenty five!"
"Twenty!"
"Okay deal!" He finally agrees. "And you have to tell me where you, who you were with, and what you were doing from the minute you left the house!"
"Fine, come into my room and I'll tell you and get your money." I sigh. We crept into my room and he took a seat in a chair in the corner.
"Spill it." He says, making himself comfortable.
"Well, when I left the house I went to Riley's house-"
"Who's Riley?" He questions.
"My new girlfriend. Anyway-"
"No surprise there." He scoffs, interrupting again. I scowl at him.
"Anyway, I went to Riley's house for supper and to meet her family." I told him.
"What else did you two do?" He asks. I shrug.
"I don't know, we talked, and stuff."
"What kind of 'stuff'?" He inquires. I sigh.
"God your some nosey! We cuddled and we kissed a bit, okay?" I growl at him. He shrugs and let's me continue.
"Anyway, after awhile, West texted me and told me I had to come over to his house, so I had to leave Riley and I went over to his house for awhile, and than I came home. That's the adventure of me evening, happy?"
"Very." He replies.
"Now, you won't tell mom I was out past curfew?" I ask.
"Nope." He replies. "So, what's Riley like?"
"You really need to know everything don't you?!" I snap.
"Yes, yes I do." He replies. I let out a frustrated sigh.
"Well, she's pretty cute. And sweet. And pretty, and beautiful..." I trail off, thinking of her.
"When are you going to break up with her?" He asks. I sigh sadly.
"Prom night." I tell him.
"Ouch. That's cold, even for you." He says.
"Well, can I tell you something, but you got to promise you won't tell another soul?" I say. He nods.
"I promise."
"Well, the only reason that I asked her out on a date in the first place was because of a dare that West dared me to. I took the challenge, took her out on a date, end of story. But than he created a bet, where I have to date her until prom night. If I win, they will do anything I want, vise versa." I explain. "But I never expected that I would actually start to like Riley."
"Tough break." He sighs.
"Yeah, it is. And I don't think I want to break up with her, but West as Eldon think I hate her, and expect me to break up with her because they think she's a loser." I sigh. "I just don't know what to do..."
"Eh, you'll figure it out." He says, getting up to leave.
"Yeah, I hope I do." I sigh.
