Riley's POV

I used to go to football games at my old school. Not that I had any guy friends or a boyfriend that played, but just in an attempt to fit in, not that it worked.

I sat on the edge of the bleachers, right next to the aisle. I was hoping Michelle and Stephanie would be here so I wouldn't be all alone. They're here, but turns out that they're also cheerleaders. So while I'm trying to blend in, they're down on the field.

I wasn't really a fan of football either. But I wanted to be a good girlfriend and support my boyfriend. But I was still suffering through watching the game, and I just wanted to see James.

It was the last quarter of the game and our team was winning. As the games finally came to an end, our team had won.

Everyone raced onto the field, screaming and cheering. I slowly made my way down the steps and onto the field as well, trying to spot James.

I finally seen him, a bunch of cheerleaders crowding him. I crossed my arms shyly and made my way over to him, pushing past the girls.

"Hey." I say shyly.

"Hey you came!" James says happily, pulling my into his arms. I notice the girls glare and walk off.

"Okay, you're gross and sweaty." I giggle, trying to get out of his grasp. He laughs and just holds me tighter.

"Okay, okay. I'll save you the suffering." He laughs, letting me go.

"You were pretty good out there." I comment, giving him a light jokingly punch in the arm.

"You think so?" He asks.

"Yeah." I reply. He chuckles, and leans in to kiss me. I push him away.

"Not until you get a shower." I reply.

"Oh I see." He chuckles. "I'm going to head to the locker room with the team, and I'll come by your place later, okay?"

"Yeah sure." I reply. He grabs me quick, hugging me again.

"James!" I shriek. "I already told you that you need a shower first."

"Alright Riles." He replies.

James's POV

After heading back to the locker room and getting a shower, I'm now on my way to Riley's to hang out with her for a bit.

As usual, I knock on the door and wait for her father to open up.

"Hello James." He says plainly.

"Hi, is Riley here?" I ask.

"In her room." He replies.

"Great thanks." I say, walking in and up to her room.

Riley was sat at her desk, doing her homework. I walk up behind her and put my hands on her shoulders. She jumps.

"Sorry Riles." I say, sprawling out on her bed.

"Make yourself at home, why don't know." She comments.

"My thoughts exactly." I reply. She keeps doing her homework, flipping through the text book every now and than and than scribbles something down. Not like being ignored, I clear my throat.

"What?" She asks, looking up at me.

"Notice anything?" I ask. She cocks her head to the side, looking at me.

"Um, not really." She replies.

"I got a shower." I tell her. She giggles and begins writing again.

"Well that's good." She says, not looking up from her paper.

"You promised." I remind her.

"I never promised anything." She says.

"Riley, put the books down and give your boyfriend a hug and kiss." I order.

"Busy." Is all she says. Getting annoyed, I lean over and grab her, pulling her into the bed with me.

"James!" She giggles as I start tickling her.

"I want my kiss!" I tell her as I finally stop tickling her.

"You want a kiss? Fine." She spats, kissing my cheek.

"Not that kind of kiss." I grumble.

"What do you want than?" She sighs.

"This." I say, giving her a rough and sloppy kiss on the lips.
