Chapter Twenty-Four: Breakfast of Champions.
I propped one of my legs onto the bench, linking my fingers over my calf to keep it placed there. The air was surprisingly warm against my bare legs. Winter was slowly coming, along with Christmas. I rested my head in the crook my elbow, watching Vic dart around the kitchen grabbing breakfast materials. He placed a box of lucky charms with two bowls and spoons in the bench. He gave me a guilty look.
"Sorry, no cooked breakfast. I think Jaime ate everything before he left for Tony's." I clicked my tongue, shaking my head at him.
"That's just not good enough." I huffed, crossing my arms across my chest.
"You come to my house and we cook you a feast. I stay at yours and I get lucky charms?" He actually looked genuinely upset for a moment. He pointed to the door.
"I can go get some..." I burst out laughing, hopping of my stool and walking into the kitchen.
"Babe, I'm kidding. You fall for it too easily." I grabbed his face giving him a peck on his lips. His smile returned promptly after realising I was just messing with him. He rested his hands on my hips.
"Did you just call me babe?" I smirked, moving closer, our foreheads still pushed together.
"Do you like it when I call you babe, babe?" His hands scrunched up his shirt at the top of my bare thighs. He hummed in the back if his throat.
"A little too much." He went to kiss me but I pulled back. He looked confused before I grinned cheekily at him, before grabbing the box of the bench.
"I'm sorry, I'm just so hungry." I said pouring myself a bowl, turning away from him. I heard his soft growl just before he grabbed my waist. I squealed as he turned me around, lifting me onto the bench. He stood between my thighs, and kissed my neck. I closed my eyes, tugging his hair into my fist.
"Careful don't wanna knock the cereal off the bench." He chuckled darkly against my neck, before pulling his head back to look at me. His brown eye had a playful sparkle to them. His hand inched slightly up my thigh, pushing his shirt further up my leg.
"But I'm not hungry for cereal." His words made my stomach knot up, and I used both my hands to push his hair away from his face. I moved closer, my lips pressed against his ear.
"After I'm full, I'll satisfy you appetite." I breathed, nipping at his earlobe. His fingers dug into the sides of my thighs. Softly I pushed him back, his eyes had lost the brightness and a darkness that enthralled me had taken its place. I winked at him, purposely sauntering my hips as I went to grab milk from the fridge. It was on a lower level, and I bent down, making sure my ass was noticeable. I then felt his hand reach for my hips, as flicked my head up, turning in time as he pinned me against the fridge door. His lips pressed hungrily against mine, as I grasped his hair in my hands. I grinned against his lips, as I lifted a leg up, wrapping it over his hip.
"Guess somebody doesn't have much patients." I teased, as he attacked my neck. He pushed the shirt up, his hand running over my bare hips.
"Sometimes patients isn't the key." He bit at my neck as I gasped. The magnets on the fridge were digging into my back, so keeping him to me, I moved forward slightly. It caused Vic to loose balance, all you could hear was my gasp as we both collapsed to the ground. My knee hurt slightly, but I mostly landed on Vic. He groaned in pain, before looking up at me. A breezy laugh escaped my lips.
"Hmm, maybe we should stick to cereal for now." He closed his eyes, but his lips betrayed him and split into a smile. He ran his hands over my hips before sitting up.
