SO MUCH TIME HAD passed since anyone could remember when their lives were simple and happy, there was now only the departed roaming the once bustling streets of the world and ruined civilizations from the end of the world.
But one womanand her ever expanding family seem to make it work, to pretend their old lives can still exist, to pretend to be happy, to pretend they will be safe from the departed.
Though none of it it will ever last. The inhumane world will always plague their lives — people will be taken from their grasps, homes will be destroyed, minds will be lost, the departed will continue to rise and infect the entire spinning world to spread throughout the world in order to conquer the last of the living.

This book was published with a different storyline and character in 2019, but I decided to rewrite it because that book was cringey, so I came up with a completely new storyline and character. I am sorry to the people who were in the middle of reading the story before this one, but I thought it was time to rewrite the story, fill in plot holes, and take this character's storyline a different direction than the last character.
