"HER STUFF WAS still in our campsite

"HER STUFF WAS still in our campsite. We went hours trying to search for her. Someone must've been in the woods and found her walking around trying to go take a leak, maybe, I don't know. All we know is that someone took her. I don't believe she was killed because they would've left her body, right?" Yasmin explained what happened to everyone as they stood nearby or sat in the wooden benches. She was taking Harley's disappearance harder than Gerard was, or that's what it looked like. Ella's heart broke for the two, and the fact that someone this cruel would take her in her sleep perhaps or take her while she was going to the bathroom. An awful world with awful people.

But in the sense of kidnapping and murdering, not much had changed since before the end of the world.

Daryl turned to Ella, his eyebrows raised. Ella realized something. How Harley might've disappeared was almost the same way Daryl described how Beth disappeared. All of her stuff was on the ground with no trace of her, but some car tracks. "Beth was taken the same way, basically. We were overrun with. . . so. . . many walkers, we all separated from each other, so they might've thought she's by herself, she might need help and so they decided to help her even if it took whatever they had to get her in the car. . . if she even struggled against them. I think the same people who took Beth took Harley." she explained.

That was the first time they explained in very little detail of what happened to Beth. Maggie looked like she wanted to cry.

Gerard breathed out, biting his lip. "Fuck." he cursed under his breath.

Yasmin looked between Daryl and Ella, her eyes sad. "We never should've split off from you. I'm so sorry. Harley and Beth might've never been taken from us if we just stuck together. Now, I realize, I think Gerard realizes too, that the people we're running from aren't you guys and you probably haven't faced them. At least I hope you haven't," she paused and looked at Gerard, her expression almost pleading him of something. He nodded and turned away from everyone. "Is there still room in the group, maybe?" she asked, mostly asking Rick since he was the one to go crazy over them being inside the church.

Rick thought about it for a moment. His expression never changed on his face. He looked behind himself at the empty cans next to the altar. He looked back at the two. "They helped you?" he asked Daryl and Ella. They nodded. "Okay, only if they help us scavenge for food," he turned around to the sweating priest, clicking his tongue. Yasmin and Gerard seemed to be happy and relieved that they were welcomed back. "Now, Gabriel, tell me, where did all your supplies come from?" he asked.

Gabriel used a cloth to wipe the sweat off of his face. "Our annual food drive. Things fell apart right after we finished it. It was just me," he frowned. If only a few more of his flock had stayed then maybe they could've actually left the church without being scared of what was out there. A group was better than being on your own in the wooods. Ella crossed her arms over her chest as she listened to him, drawing her brows together. "The food lasted a long time. And then I started scavenging. I've cleaned out every place nearby. . . except for one." he told everyone.
