Anika walked into the office hurriedly. She was running late. The auto-rickshaw she had hired had broken down half way. Her luck couldn't be better.

"Five minutes late." She heard his voice as she entered inside. She raised her gaze after shutting the wooden door. He looked handsome. What? No. She had never felt so much better after seeing him. The worry had been troubling her all morning. She was glad he was okay. But now began the other fears. What did he do to the two men? Going by the rage that consumed him last night, she wouldn't be surprised if the two men were hospitalized waiting for their end.

"Here are the reports from the accounts department. Your schedule for today.." she began not responding to his statement.

He looked up at her. She was looking at the diary in her hand. She wore a red formal top and black pants. Her hair was neatly tied into a low bun and her lips looked ever inviting in the shade of red. A small smile made it to the corner of his lips. But before it became a full smile he got up from his chair and buttoned his coat. "Later. I was going to address all the employees. I don't like being late. Even if that's five minutes." He exclaimed in a taunting tone.

Anika looked at him annoyed. Couldn't he speak to her like a normal person if not sweetly? Devil. She followed him out.

The address was over. Shivaay had announced a few mild changes in the company's policies that the employees were required to abide why. He had added health checkups for senior employees. He had also opened up self-defense and personality development sessions for employees. He wanted his employees to be best at not just their work but be best overall. But what left Anika annoyed was that for all the employees who worked on his floor the two were compulsory. She felt like she was in school!

"Shivaay, I-" she began as she walked after him, scuttling to meet his pace.

He turned suddenly resulting in an almost collision. His icy blue eyes staring at her. "Sir."

Anika gulped nodding. How stupid of her to address him by his first name!

"Sir, I can't attend those sessions. I mean I don't have the time." She tried to match his pace while getting the right words in her head.

"Really?" He asked turning sharply once again. She leaned back slightly." Of how much I have known, you seem to have a lot of time. Instead of snooping around and putting your nose in people's business, you can utilize that time for your own betterment. " he turned walking once more.

She followed him into the lift. "What do you mean? I can take care of myself and I am over qualified for the stupid person.." She gasped when he held her arm twisting it to her back resulting in her body colliding with his. Sparks! She felt them.

"Show me." He hissed tightening his jaw.

Anika's eyes widened. "What!" She gasped horrified, the sudden tension was too much to handle. How she wished she was invisible. It would be so much easier to deal with him.

"Show me your self-defense." He spoke. He wanted to laugh out heartily at her horrified expression. He noticed how her look softened. She was scared of him,but no more. Her hands struggled to wriggle out of his hold. He tightened his hold, loving the proximity. She pursed her lips trying harder, her forehead almost close to touching his shoulder. Shivaay did not want her to go away. He liked it when she was close. When she was fighting him. When she tried giving him back. Her scent was triggering his hormones. The flashes of the night came gloating back into his mind.
