I yelp as I'm tackled to the ground, with no warning. It sounded like Kayden, and I was sure that this was round two.
"Sneak attacks?" I ask, dodging a fatal blow from his hammer. It lands in the dirt, and I shake him off me. "Really?" I pick him up by the throat and toss him back, into the ground near his hammer. I wanted to make this a long, painful fight for Kayden. Ever since the Bloodbath, he had been a person I wanted dead.
Especially with my second paper blade being sponsored to me, I was dual wielding and the strongest in the arena by far. That wasn't even ego, either. It was fact. And no one knew it more than Kayden. He's just so stupid that he'd challenge me anyway.
"You.. humiliated.. me!" He screams, shooting an electric disk at me. It sent crushing electricity through my body, limiting my movement drastically. I was still able to use my second blade to block Kayden's Hammer swings, though. I rip the disk out, and slam my other sword down on his EDAP. It crushes the machine, shorting it.
Kayden's eyes go wide with fear, but his saving grace comes in. I see The District 11's charging me, and I smile. Finally, a fair(ish) fight. I'd actually have to try. They knew who the threat was, for sure.
A boomerang flies through the air and creates a small cut on my forearm. I gasp, but just barely block Kayden's hammer with my blade. The impact, though, sends be back a few feet.
"Okay." I mutter, standing back up. "We'll fight."
Kayden charges me, and I grab a smaller log that had evidently fallen over. I hurl it through the air, sending Kayden flying like a baseball being hit. Then, Kasi throws the boomerang again and I dodge it this time. Before I can get to her, though, Pan bursts out of the trees and kicks me hard. I stumble backwards, just barely dodging his swing.
I cold clock him in the jaw, and he yelps in pain. I kick him back, and it sends him into a wall of dirt. I kick up a paper blade I dropped and get ready to penetrate his neck with it. But, I'm interrupted by a boomerang smacking me in the side. It dug in through the skin, and I grunt as I rip it out.
I abandon my target on Pan, planning to get rid of this nasty boomerang thrower. So annoying. She throws a wooden 'rang, but it harmlessly bounces off my side. She turns to run, but I get an idea.
Kayden runs up behind me, and I stop his hammer swing by grabbing the handle. I kick him out form under it, and Kayden wasn't looking so good at this point. I then hurl the hammer at Kasi, which slams into her right shoulder, which in turn sends her head first into a tree trunk.
She tries to roll over in a daze, and it gives me the perfect opening to split her throat wide open with my paper blade. That wakes her up, and she starts choking on her own blood. I can hear Pan screaming for Kasi behind me, but I know it was now two people to end instead of three.
I turn back around, hoping to make work of Pan. Kayden was weak enough as it was. I walk straight through the forest, leaves crunching under my boots as I near Pan.
