CHAPTER 29

Seri's POV

Ang bagay na kinatatakutan ko. Ang bagay na ayaw kong mangyari.

The picture had spread.

Everyone knows our relationship. And my name is the top-searched keyword now. I received lots of messages from unknown numbers. The hype is up again like last time. But it's crazier now.

I don't know what danger is coming for me now. I may not just be beaten to death, but they might shoot me with a gun for me to die quickly and vanish in this world.

I used to wish that I should die before. I want to escape this planet. I want to meet God and ask him why is he so cruel to me.
I didn't have a chance to grow up like other youths. My childhood is not even worth remembering. I was given an illness that no one could imagine. Isn't it good to just die and stop bad things coming for me? I was tired and hopeless.

But when I met the grown up Jay, everything changed. Now, I want to live. I want to spend every single breathe of me loving him. I started to overcome my phobia and I want to explore the world that I failed to appreciate.

But here I am now. Spacing out. I don't know what to do. I want to believe that this is not happening.

"Drink this first.", Dr.Jung offered me some tea. Tinignan ko lang ito dahil nanginginig buong katawan ko. "This will help you relax", dagdag niya.

Kinuha ko iyon saka uminom ng kaunti. Medyo kumalma ang pakiramdam ko.

Now I have to think a way on how to survive from his crazy fans. I can't stay in this clinic forever and avoid them.

*tuk*tuk*tuk*

"Seri, andyan ka ba?", dinig ko boses ni Jinx na kumakatok sa clinic.

Tumayo si doc at binuksan iyon. Pumasok silang dalawa ni Sheen.

"Nakita mo na?", agad na tanong ni Jinx

"Ano ba ang nangyayari?, hindi naman mapakali si Sheen.

Tinignan ko si Jinx. I still have trust issues to her. At hindi malabong may pakana siya dahil siya ang kumuha ng picture.

"Hindi na ako yan promise! Maniwala ka, Seri", agad niyang naintindihan ang tingin ko.

"I know", tipid kong wika. "I believe.", dagdag ko.

"Tinawagan ko si Jennifer para tanungin kung bakit kumalat iyon pero hindi na siya sumasagot. Pati si Jei Sue hindi din sumasagot.", ipinakita pa niya sakin ang call history nito. Tinawagan niya nga yung dalawa.

"What's happening outside?", tanong ni Doc kina Jinx at Sheen dahil pansin ko ding maingay sa labas.

"They are looking for Seri. Maya-maya'y dadating na yung mga reporters dito sa school. ", natatarantang wika ni Sheen.

"Can you two disturb the students outside? And If the reporters arrived, distract them in any way you can. I'll make a way to keep Seri from them.", utos ni Doc sa dalawa at agad silang lumabas para gawin iyon.

Everyone is getting worried. Mom and Junjun even texted me because they also saw the news and they got worried. At halatang nag-aalala din si Doc sakin.

But I haven't heard a single word from Jay. Is everything alright? He might saw the news and I know he is also making a way. But he should have contacted me.

Kinuha ko phone ko para tawagan siya.
