CHAPTER 27

Seri's POV

*******1 week later*****

After resting at home and distance my self from distress, I decided to go back to school. Few days left and it's our graduation already so I have so many things to catch up to be able to graduate. My body is fine now, though my wounds aren't completely healed but I can move my arms and legs normally.

Aside from just staying at home, Jay and me sometimes went on a date. We just have to cover our faces outside because people might see us. Good thing, those pictures that was sent to me didn't spread. Maybe because the culprit is Jennifer, and that bitch is busy preparing for her debut as an idol.

The media are lying low lately to Jay and to me so I have less worries now. Tamang gala lang at tambay sa bahay buong linggo. Pero ayaw ko namang takasan yung responsibilidad ko dito sa school. Konting tiis na lang at aalis na ako dito. Kahit hindi ko pa alam kung ano gagawin ko pagkatapos grumadweyt.

"Okay class, I will not held lectures for today.", sabi ng adviser namin na nakatayo ngayon sa harap. Akala ko bibigyan niya kami ng test dahil may mga papel itong dala na mukhang test papers.

"YES!", sabay na wika ng mga kaklase ko.

"Instead, I want you to fill up these forms. Your graduation is fast approaching so all of you should already know what course you will be taking in college. I hope that you will answer the questions seriously, okay?"

"Yes Ma'am!"

She distributed the forms to everyone. As soon as I received the form I immediately write my name.

"Seri, decided ka na ba sa kurso mo?", wika ni Jinx na nasa tabi ko. Umiling lang ako dahil hindi ko din naman talaga alam kung anong kurso ang kukunin ko.

"Ako nga din. Ano ba ang bagay na kurso sa mang-mang na tulad ko?"

"Ano ka ba! You're not really dumb Jinx, you're just lazy to study.", sabi ko sa kanya kaya napabuga siya ng hangin saka binalik ang atensyon sa form. Nilibot ko ang mga mata ko at marami din akong kaklaseng undecided pa. Si Sheen mukhang sigurado na siya at mabilis niyang na fill-upan yung form.

"Ma'am excuse me.", tumingin kaming lahat sa president namin na tumaas ng kamay.

"Yes, Ms. President?"

"Do we have to submit this form today? Kasi hindi pa kami sigurado sa kurso na gusto namin eh", magalang niyang wika at sumang-ayon din naman ang karamihan kasama ako.

"Sorry to say but the deadline is until today only. We have to shoot your yearbook photo tomorrow and that includes wearing you're career uniforms. Also, I can extend it until dismissal for you to think about it.", pagkasabi ni prof ay lumabas na siya ng classroom.

"Hays buti na lang. ", napabuntong hininga si Jinx. "Tara na!" Nilagay niya yung form nito sa bag saka nagyayang lumabas.

"Saan tayo pupunta?", tanong ko dahil nakatayo na siya habang inaayos ko pa yung mga gamit ko.

"Saan pa edi sa clinic!"

"Huh? Anong gagawin mo dun? May sakit ka ba?", tanong ko. Mukhang masyado naman siyang masigla kung may sakit ito.

"Ano kaba! Hindi lahat ng pumupunta sa clinic ay may sakit", lumapit siya ng kaunti para sabihin yun. Napalapit din si Sheen dahil mahina ang pagkasabi ni Jinx. Kahit alam naming walang sense pero nakikinig pa din kami. "Yung iba, para umibig", dagdag niya sabay kindat.
