the next day, rosalie and emmett got dressed into some of their best clothes before they went downstairs to greet the result of their family.

"good-morning!" 

emmett bellowed happily causing the family to turn towards the pair of mates.

"what's got you both so happy?"

 esme asked not knowing that her two eldest children had found their second mate. carlisle didn't know either. the children wanted to keep it a surprise from their parents. 

"they're excited because they found their second mate yesterday at school." 

after jasper said this the two parents stopped what they were doing and looked at the said mates who were still smiling.

"really what's her name?"

 esme asked happy for the couple.

"her name is hayley swan."

 alice answered for her oldest siblings.

"she's very pretty." 

alice commented as she remembered how pretty the eldest swan was.

emmett and rosalie nodded in agreement before they exited and walked over to their car, eager to get to school early so that they could see their mate.

meanwhile...

hayley sat at the dining room table with her ipod and a bowl of frosty flakes and a cup of orange juice. her bag was already packed and she was just waiting for her sister to be ready so that she could leave.

"you know you don't have to wait for me."

 bella said as she noticed her sister sitting at the table. hayley looked into bella's chocolate brown eyes.

"are you sure?" 

hayley asked not wanting to leave her sister alone. bella nodded before shooing hayley out to her car with her bag.

"just go." bella said. hayley shrugged before she started her car and drove off.

when hayley arrived at school she walked over to her locker and begin to put her books inside of it. what hayley didn't know was that while she was packing her locker, two certain vampires were watching their mate from across the hallway.

while hayley was about to close her locker she was interrupted by someone leaning against it. when she looked up her light brown eyes met a pair of light blue ones.

"can i help you?" hayley asked getting annoyed with the staring.

"yeah you could. you could give me your number." 

the stranger said leaning towards hayley who was really annoyed. rosalie and emmett who was still watching their mate were growling lowly at how close the boy was to their mate.

"can you go away?" 

hayley asked as she stepped away from the blonde haired boy who only shook his head.
