third pov

"i'm so ready!"

hayley exclaimed jumping side to side while throwing punches at the air. she was dressed in a pair of biker shorts, a sports bra as well as a oversized baseball t-shirt that she had stolen from emmett (much to his amusement). she also decided to wear knee length socks with her runners. she looked adorable (well at least that's what her mates told her)

rosalie chuckled placing a kiss on her cheek. emmett however let out a loud laugh.

"you're adorable."

rosalie hummed as she walked over to emmett and helped him with his baseball cap.

"i know i am. so when are we leaving?"

hayley questioned from her spot on the bed.

"now come on love."

rosalie said picking hayley up bridal style and then speeding to the front lawn.

"are we running?"

hayley asked. rosalie nodded as they waited for emmett to finish off getting ready.
"how come?"

hayley asked surprised, she thought that they would've been taking emmett's jeep.
"emmett let edward use the jeep to get bella. plus we thought that you would've liked having to run."

emmett said appearing next to hayley and rosalie. hayley eagerly nodded jumping into emmett's back while wrapping her arms around his neck while her legs went around his waist.
"onwards my galliant steed!"

hayley exclaimed giggling when emmett immediately took off through the forest at an alarming speed. hayley's glee filled laugh echoed throughout the forest causing rosalie and emmett to smile as well.
they arrived at the field ten minutes later, hayley was met with the rest of the cullen clan who were all warming up. hayley smiled and made her way over to alice who immediately squealed and wrapped her long dainty arms around the human girl.

"hayley!!!"

she squealed pulling away to look at her outfit.

"you look so cute!!!"

jasper chuckled at his wife's eagerness and pulled hayley into a brotherly hug.

"hey jas."

hayley breathed out welcoming his strong arms.

all of a sudden, emmett's jeep pulled up and out stepped edward and bella. hayley walKed over to rosalie when she noticed how annoyed rosalie was looking.

"glad your here, we need an umpire."

esme chuckled wrapping her arm around bella's shoulder.
"she thinks we cheat."

emmett said deviously throwing a baseball in between his hands as he walked towards hayley and rosalie.

"i know you cheat, call'em as you see 'em bella."

esme said leading bella over to the home plate where hayley stood throwing the metal bat up and down into the air. rosalie stood next to her ready to run once the ball was hit.

thunder crackled causing emmett to let out a whoop of excitement.
"it's time."

alice announced as she looked towards hayley who nodded determinedly as she waited for the ball to near the bat. when the ball got close enough, hayley swung the bat as hard as she could.
clang!

hayley watched as the ball soared through the air while rosalie sprinted off through the bases determined to win so that she could impress hayley who was still standing in awe. bella also watched in awe as he sisters ball flew through the air over the family and into the forest.

"that's got to be a home run."

bella commented from beside esme who hummed. bella watched as edward turned towards the entrance to the forest and took off after the ball using his vampire speed.
"edward's very fast."

and on cue, edward appeared and threw the ball back at esme who was quick to slam the ball onto the base just before rosalie could get a home run.
"you're out."

bella announced to the whole family. emmett cheered in excitement as rosalie glared towards him in anger. hayley on the other hand pouted and crossed her arms over her chest out of sheer annoyance.

before she gave the bat over, she lifted up her arm and flipped the bronze haired vampire off eliciting a loud laugh to escape his body.
