third pov

luna sat in the corner of the diner awe as she continued to stare at the majestic mountain that was covered in snow and pine trees. victoria had hardly ever let luna go out by herself unless it was for something important but because she had been cooped up in the small rural cabin house for weeks on end looking after the prisoner, victoria much to lunas pleasure kicked her our of the house in order to hunt. luna jumped at the chance and immediately left the house and made her way to the rendezvous point.

the strawberry blonde beauty waited for about ten minutes before the diner door opened. luna looked up and beckoned the two suspicious looking vampires over to her table. luna noticed that the closer the two vampires got to the table, the more and more tense they got. she didn't blame them. they obviously thought that she was lying and that she could rat them out at any moment.

"you said you know where hayley is?"

the female vampire whispered to luna who immediately nodded. that's when the male vampire perked up and stared at luna in disbelief.

"you do? how?"

he questioned shocked. luna let out a sigh and looked down at her perfectly manicured nails contemplating on what to say to the two mates. she knew that is she said the wrong thing, it could throw whatever trust they had for her out the window and they could both just attack her easily. whilst she did think this, luna couldn't help but feel like they were too smart to cause a commotion in front o all these humans.

"my sister captured her."luna whispered hoarsely as she kept her eyes trained onto the table. she heard the two vampires

gasp before the female responded.

"victoria's your sister."

she whisper-yelled in disbelief. the male growled, his golden eyes turning a dark black colour as he started to glare at the shorter vampire.

"i swear i'm nothing like her though! i don't agree with the things she does!"

luna quickly explained when she noticed that the man was growling fiercely at her.

"we can't trust you! you could be leading us into a trap for all we know!"

he growled shaking with anger. luna watched as his gigantic hands easily crushed the wooden table into splinters gaining every bodies attention. luna felt her eyes widen as she looked down to the table, suddenly taking great interest in her fingers. the blonde vampire was quick to send the onlookers an icy glare that could freeze hell over whilst she grabbed the mans hands with her own. the man let out a final growl before he slowly started to calm down when he felt his mates comforting touch.

luna felt her undead heart clench when as she witnessed the heartfelt display the two were putting on in front of her. she had wished she had a mate that she could lean on and tell everything to. unfortunately since she had been with her sister ever since she was changed, luna had never gotten a chance to search around her mate.luna waited for another minute before the pair finally looked her in the eyes.

"can we trust you?"

the girl asked looking luna in the eye. luna slowly nodded whilst the man scoffed.

"well i don't."

he said glaring at luna who looked away. she knew she had to find a way to convince the man that she was on his side otherwise she wouldn't be able to save the human she had grown so fond of. luna continued to think of a way to show the man her evidence before she suddenly facepalmed gaining the pairs attention.
