third pov

rose quietly sat on the seat next to emmett in worry as she continued to watch over their brown-haired girlfriend. rose felt as if all of the beeping caused by the machines were mocking her as she continued to bite her usually perfectly manicured nails in worry. emmett who was sitting next to her with his head in his hands sighed before reaching over and grabbing the shorter girl's hand in his own and rubbing comforting circles into them using his thumbs.
                              "she'll be fine rose."

rosalie nodded she knew that hayley was going to be alright, hayley was one of the strongest girls that she had ever known and she knew that hayley was going to pull through but she couldn't help but imagine what would have happened if they hadn't had intervened. rosalie couldn't help but imagine hayley lifeless on the ground as her blood surrounded her body staining both her clothes and the ground crimson.

emmett wasn't doing any better either, all he could imagine was him seeing hayleys limp body lying in his blonde lovers' arms unconscious. the image of the event was forever imprinted in his head, leaving him guilt ridden.

the pair didn't even look up when they smelt the scent of hayleys father, charlie as he rapidly approached the room. they could tell he had been running because they could hear his accelerated heartbeat as he pulled himself to a stop outside of the door before he opened it and walked in.
                              "my poor princess."
charlie muttered rushing over to the other side of hayley and sitting down in one of the extra chairs in the room. the pair watched as charlie grasped hayleys hand in his own before he turned towards the duo.
                              "where was she?"
he asked relief in his eyes but venom in his tone. they knew how angry he was and that he wanted revenge, hell they did to but they couldn't do anything at the moment.
"a girl named luna told us that she had seen hayley being taken by a woman into a cabin that is about ten miles away from here in the middle of the woods."
rosalie explained partially lying, it wasn't like she was actually able to tell charlie that his eldest daughter was taken by a vampire so she simply said the first thing that came to mind.
"thank-you both for finding my daughter, i would like to thank this luna girl. do you know where she is?"
charlie asked hopefully but all he received was two no's.
"she left after we got here with hayley."
rosalie said shortly causing charlie to nod before he turned his attention back to hayley who let out a breath.
the trio sat together for a few hours before the door opened once more to reveal hayley's mother, renee.
                              "how is she?"
renee asked rushing over to charlies side with tears prickling her eyes.
"she has a few bruises but other than that she is just fine. she's just really exhausted."
emmett replied letting his presence known to the doting mother who became surprised at the sight of the two.
                              "oh, hello who are you?"
rosalie and emmett both stood up and placed their hands out for renee to shake.
"i'm rosalie and this is my boyfriend emmett."
