I just wanted to explain as to why Hayley would be feeling more depressed over the fact that Bella didn't go to the hospital to visit. 

Hayley will be feeling heartbroken over Bella because the twins are supposed to have a unbreakable bond. Hayley feels sad because even when Hayley was feeling down or something like that, she put that all to the side when she knew that Bella was feeling down or something like that. Hayley will be feeling a little bit betrayed because she feels like Bella will not put in the effort of helping her like she does whenever Bella was feeling down. 

She will also be feeling depressed because she was hoping for Bella to be one of the first people she got to see when she woke up so that she could see for herself that Bella was alright. 

So yeah, the main reason Hayley is feeling depressed is because she felt like Bella didn't care enough for her to visit while she was in hospital.

I know that Bella is feeling depressed since Edward left but it's just for this part of the story.
