"So open your eyes and see
The way our horizons meet
And all of the lights will lead
Into the night with me
And I know these scars will bleed
But both of our hearts believe
All of these stars will guide us home"

*Emily's Point Of View*

My hands rested on my hips as I stared up at the walls trying to figure out why my mom gave us so many colours.

"Why'd she give us so many colours?" I asked staring down at the 5 opened cans of colours; red, blue, yellow, green and white.

"She wants us to surprise her" he said with a chuckle as he finished laying out the sheet for the first wall to protect the carpet from paint splattering all over it.

"With what? A bright blue wall in the completely white coloured wall house" I said dipping my paint brush into the white can.

He stayed silent for a moment.

"Life is like this canvas right... it becomes whatever you paint on it. You can paint freedom. You can paint glory or even misery. It's up to you. You chose what to do with it" he said softly as my brush came to a halt on the wall.

What he said somehow related to how we were right now. We were in a tough scary situation and we continued to think of it like that. Tough. Scary. Frustrating. But really we got what we wanted. We were together. We had one another and I could be lucky enough to go to sleep beside the guy I loved every night. It was scary but we needed to stop thinking it was.

"That was deep" I breathed out making him chuckle and shake his head. I giggled and continued to paint soft strokes up and down the wall in white paint.

"So red" he said simply before messily stroking his brush up the wall in bright red paint. "Shawn!" I squealed looking at him in bewilderment at why he was doing that.

"The single most dynamic and passionate colour; the love, passion and infatuation I have for you..." he said painting a bright red love heart in the middle of the wall.

I couldn't help but crack a smile at his words.

"And blue" he said dipping the brush into the blue can before painting random strokes along the wall.

"For our vigilance, loyalty and trust" he said bringing back memories of the whole Camila situation. I thought he was with her and he wasn't. I didn't trust him.

"Yellow" He said softly dropping his paint brush and dipping his hands into the can of yellow paint.

"Represents the joy and happiness you make me feel he said placing his hand prints on the wall before turning to me and placing a hand on my cheek.

I was smiling so widely that I didn't even care about the yellow paint that was on my skin and strands of my hair.

"Hmm... green" I said pushing past him and picking up the can with both hands.

"The... harmony, balance and - growth we have and will have" I said spilling the paint onto the wall before smudging it around with the other colours already there.

"And white" He said grabbing the can and tipping it onto the wall. "Is everything... but mainly the clarity. The clearness and clarity that I feel when I'm with you. The clarity that I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you. That I love you. Every single part of you" he said dropping the can.

I stared at him teary eyed, a multicoloured wall behind him that looked so random but so right. Everything meant something and I knew having to paint over it one day would be heartbreaking.

He grabbed my waist with his yellow covered hands, pulling me towards his body. I glanced over at the door making sure the door was locked.

He reached over to the wall swiping his hand over the colours before placing his hand on my neck softly. I didn't care though. It made sense. Those colours had so much meaning now and they were meaning for us.

I pulled his face to mine pressing my lips passionately against his. His hands ran down my body, paint going with it as he kissed back. His tongue ran along my bottom lip as he begged for entrance. I parted my lips letting his tongue slip in.

"Jump" he whispered patting the back of my legs lightly. I squealed slightly as I jumped, wrapping my legs around his waist as he held onto my bottom.

I lips made there way against each other's again. He slowly bent down before laying me on the sheet, his body hovering over me.

"You are the most perfect person I have ever met. I'm so glad you tried to steal my own order off me the day we met" he whispered with a smile making me giggle.

He pressed his lips back against mine before moving his body to rest in between my legs, knocking over the cans of paint at the same time.

I looked down seeing them all spilling. He reached over grabbing the red and pouring the cold liquid over my chest.

I squealed at the feeling of it going down my chest and onto my neck.

He threw the can beside him before linking our lips again, his hands moving down to my hips before caressing them. His hands trailed slowly up my stomach pushing my shirt with it until I was left in my bra.

I tugged in the bottom of his shirt as he began to kiss down my painted neck. He slipped his shirt off throwing it beside mine before unbuttoning his jeans and slipping them off quickly after. While he undressed I slipped off my shorts leaving me in just my garments.

"I love you" he said sliding my underwear down my legs and pressing his member against my entrance. I moaned softly at the feeling of him pressing against me.

"I love you" I replied feeling him press into me.

That night we made love. There was paint spread everywhere over the sheets, different colours moulding together.

We didn't just fuck or have sex. We made love and it was so different to anything we've ever experienced before. It was more than just a pleasure, it the ability of being so close to him, so connected, so comfortable to the point where I thought I couldn't take it. I was a part of him and he was a part of me.
