"Do you know what it feels like?
To get calls in the middle of the night?
Saying you're not worth it, you deserve it
Go on, have another drink"

*Shawn's Point Of View*
I hated treating her like shit. I really did.
But I signed a confidential contract contributing to the rules and doings with Emily. One being to stay in a strictly professional relationship with her.
If I didn't treat her like shit I would just get closer and closer to her until I was attached. And that wasn't a 'strictly professional relationship'.
It was now 7pm at night and I'd finally finished unpacking my small suitcase filled with multiple black jeans and tees.
I was getting another suitcase sent over filled with weapons and protective gear soon.
I walked down into the kitchen, eyeing Emily's closed door as I walked past it.
I opened the fridge only to realise we hadn't even gone shopping for groceries or any sort of food yet.
I grinned realising that I could maybe make it up to her for being a dick by buying some pizza. She said that was her favourite food.
I called up an ordered a pepperoni pizza, it expecting to arrive in 20 minutes. I hung up and plopped myself in front of the television hanging from the wall.
A door creaked open and patters of footsteps walked down the hallways until Emily's small figure appeared. She stood there rubbing her eyes as she obviously just woke up from a nap. She looked undeniably cute.
I shook my head to stop looking at her. I needed to stop thinking of her like that. She's my client I guess you could say.
I heard the fridge door open and mutters come out of her mouth.
I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Mm?" I mumbled not facing her.
"Uhh. We have no food" she said sitting down beside me.
"Yea I know. I just ordered pizza" I said shooting her a small smile before watching the basketball game that was playing. It was the Toronto Raptors versing the Golden State Warriors.
"Who you cheering for?" She said elevating her feet into the coffee table in front of us.
I repeated her action resting my hands behind my head. "Toronto's obviously" I said not intending it to come out rude.
"Guessing your from Toronto?" She asked.
"Born and raised" I said making her giggle. The sound of her giggle was enough to make me break out into a smile.
"When did you come to America?" She asked curiously her body facing towards mine now.
"Last year" I said bluntly as she began to ask to many personal questions.
"That's cool. Why'd you move here?" She said pushing her hair to the side of her neck. My eyes ran from her face down to the soft skin on her neck.
"Just work" I mumbled before slowly facing back to the tv.
"What about your family?" She asked resting a hand on my arm that had moved to rest on the back of the couch.
I yanked my hand away quickly making her frown.
"It's really none of your business" I spat. She looked down her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Not only was she touching me which really didn't help me stay away from her. She was asking me too many personal questions.
