Morus celtidifolia, the Texas mulberry, is a plant species native to South America, Central America, Mexico, and the southwestern United States, ranging from Argentina north as far as Arizona and Oklahoma. In the USA, it grows in canyons and on slopes, usually near streams, from 200–2,200 m (660–7,220 ft) elevation.
Hailing from the Americas, Texas Mulberry wands are often found in the hands of the frugal and pessimistic, and those who are often unlucky in love. Mulberry wands make gentle, smooth casting wands, though this swiftness varies depending on the core. Mulberry wands are also fine for enchanting and biological magics, though they lack skill with defensive and offensive magic. Still, for sheer strength, Mulberry wands were often more than capable with a surprising degree of strength, often made stronger by a dragon heartstring core.
