When he raises his head, she is standing before him dressed a royal blue bubu with a silver coloured veil hanging loosely from her head. A silver purse is hanging on her shoulder reaching her lap. In her right hand is a binded document. He sits there watching the intruder. When she starts to speak he couldn't decide if she was speaking a language he was familiar with or if it was plain gibberish. The latter felt more appropriate.

"Ahmad this isn't something that should take all day. I just decided to make changes in the blue print and i'd rather we start immediately because I've already commenced preparation for the launch. I have already commenced preparation for the launch. I have already informed people there can't be a change in the date!"

Ahmad measured her with his eyes. "You can't be serious!"

"As a matter of fact I am."

Ahmad got on his feet pacing up and down his office. He had sure faced numerous challenges in his life but he had never met a more problematic person like the one sitting before him. If he had left the office two minutes earlier he would have avoided the altercation altogether.

"Well I don't care how serious you are Madam, I was about to leave before you came in." He started to get up from his seat.

"You can't just neglect me Ahmad, you signed a goddamned contract." She dropped a copy of the contract on his table and slapped it for emphasis.

"You are out of your mind! "

"Maybe but my request stands," She stresses folding her hand audaciously.

Ahmad starts to walk out of the office.

"If you walk out on me expect a visit from my lawyer this evening."

Ahmad knew something was wrong when her voice sounded laden as though she was masking it. "Are you really OK?"

"Yes."

"Could it be the stress that got to you? "

"No, dear."

Dear? She had never called him that plus it didn't exactly sound dear. In as much as he had asked her the same question repeatedly in his mind.

"I'll call you later."
