The guys had been helpful. They had all put their personal schedules on hold to rally round Ahmad in his time of need. Unfortunately, all of their efforts combined yielded no positive results. The kidnappers were like some spiritual creatures that came from nowhere with the sole aim of abducting a helpless woman with no demands whatsoever.

“All my guys reached a deadlock, it is like those guys vanished in to thin air,” Salim laments.

“It’s the same thing here. The tracking yielded no positive results, the only thing obtained was an IMEI number that proved to be useless, as it doesn’t rhyme with the present one being used on the source device. I have never seen anything like this! Ahmad are you sure you have no one in mind?” Abubakar queries.

“None,” Ahmad stares in the distance. The men were in the living room of his section in the Modibbo mansion. There wasn’t much they could do but sit with him in silence.

“Don’t relent on the prayers Ahmad, we will also keep praying too. In shaa Allah, she will be released soon,” Salim says.

He arrives at a quiet street in Federal Housing Lugbe. Surprisingly, the area was yet to be fully occupied. There were a couple of completed houses scattered around. The address was fairly easy to locate, it had a huge brown gate. It had its owners rich taste written over its grandness. He stopped the car in front of the gate, as he deliberated what to do next, the gates opened. He took a glance at the gate man before driving in. The house looked smaller than he had expected. He spots the parking space opposite the building that made up the bulk of the house. Kabir parked his car close to one other parked black jeep.

A broad shouldered man dressed in a black long sleeved shirt approached the man. He held the door for the chairman. “Welcome sir,” he greets.
Kabir nods.

“This way,” the man gestures, leading the way through a narrow pathway, beside the building. They arrived at the back of building which turns out to be like a revelation. The main building concealed a more appealing structure behind it. It was shaped like a hut though it was obviously larger. It was painted a cool army green. It had a large Mahogany door at the entrance. It was close to the long fence of the house.

For a second he wondered if Rukkayya would be inside the main house but he dismissed it soon enough. An ebony complexioned, stout man stood beside the door. There was a prominent scar on his face cutting close to his left eye, he neither smiled nor did he look friendly. The first guy explained to him that he would need to be checked before going in.
