Two years later

"K, are you coming tonight?" bungad na tanong ni Anne sa kaibigan na, as usual, ay abala sa pagguhit. Straight from work, she decided to drop by at Karylle's office to remind her about their dinner later that night.

"Dinner at your house? Oo naman," Karylle replied without even taking her eyes off her draft.

"Buti naman. Akala ko buong gabi ka nanamang magddrawing lang sa unit mo, eh."

"Natutulog kaya ako."

"How long? An hour or two? You call that sleep?"

"Oh eh ano pa ba ibang tawag doon? Mamaya mo na 'ko awayin, I still have an important meeting to attend and I'm not even done with this yet," ngarag na sabi ni Karylle habang tinititigang maigi ang ginuguhit niya.

"Fine. Basta don't be late ha! Anniversary dinner namin 'yon ni Vhongskie, dalawa kaming magagalit sa 'yo if you don't show up."

"You've told me that six times already since last week. Go na! I'm busy."

Hindi naman na nakipagtalo si Anne at lumabas na ng opisina ni Karylle.

After about an hour, she was finally done with her sketch and she was all set for her meeting with a big client and a potential new investor.

With much confidence and through the support she got from her employees, she was able to successfully proceed with the meeting and seal the deal with their new clients and investors.

"Lunch is on me. Congrats to us, guys!"

Nagdiwang naman lahat nang i-announce ni Karylle ang pa-libreng lunch niya for everyone.

"Congratulations, anak. Ang layo na talaga ng narating ng kumpanya," proud na bati ng kanyang secretary/Tyang Amy nang makalapit ito sa kanya.

"The company's success is everyone's success. Para sa ating lahat lahat ng ito," nakangiting saad ni Karylle saka niyakap ang ginang.

In a span of two years, Karylle and the Lot Holders Architectural Company continued to expand worldwide and stay at the top of its game.

Nagkaroon man ng kaunting set back after her feud with Christian and his company, siniguro ni Karylle na hindi siya ang maiiwang talunan by the end of their long rivalry.

Wala naman siyang nakukuhang balita about her father's businesses. Hindi pa rin sila muling nagkikita o nagkakausap since the night she went to his house with Zeus and found out their big plan.

As per Zeus, she gave him a new position in her company and all is well between them.

Her life went well in those two years, pero sa kabila ng tagumpay na nakakamit niya, alam niyang may kulang pa rin at wala na siyang magagawa para punan iyon.

"Wifey, okay na ba 'to?"

"Patingin nga... Oh wow! Okay na okay, Viceral. Isasama mo ba 'to sa show?" manghang sabi ng babaeng lumapit kay Vice para i-check ang bagong design nito.

"Yup. Thanks, Liz."

"No problem. Nag-yes na rin pala yung partners natin for the show. We're good to go!"

Napangiti naman lalo si Vice sa narinig na balita.

He's been working on this fashion show for half a year at wala nang mapaglagyan ang excitement niya ngayong matutupad na ito sa wakas.
