Broken (A Cimorelli Fanfiction)

She's totally overwhelmed. I mean, for an only child especially. 6 people is a lot for her right now. Especially considering the stress she's probably under to stay perfect. This is the first time she's even meeting two of us, and the others are fairly new to her as well. Also, we're her idols. I can't imagine e the stress she's under. Before not even a second of silence has passed, Amy jumps up and walks over to her. 

"Hi, I'm Amy!" 

"I- I know," Alexandria responds quietly. 

"Oh right, I forgot I'm talking to one of our fans," Amy laughs, and Alexandria's face turns bright red. Amy doesn't notice, thank god, because she's already walking towards the table. Kathrine has already sat down with the others, but I stayed as reassurance to Alexandria. I walk up beside her, making my presence known before doing anything. I then put my hand lightly on her back and tap forwards to get her to move, but she still flinched. 

"You okay?"

"Yeah," she responds quietly, seeing as how the conversation is hushed at the moment, "I just wasn't paying attention." 

"Okay. well, let's go sit down. You sit between me and Chris if that's okay?"

"Yeah... yeah that's fine, perfect." We walk over and I let her slide into the middle, then sit down myself. 

"So Alexandria," Dani starts while the food gets passed around, "Never mind, I forgot." We all laugh a little, even Alexandria. Then Christina starts talking while getting her food. 

"So what kinda stuff are you into Alexandria?" But she gets no answer. Alexandria is nervously watching the food as it gets passed around. After a minute, I elbow her and her head shoots up. 

"Sorry, what?" She says, her face bright red. Chris smiles at her.

"It's okay, I just asked what you are into."

"Oh. Umm... singing, reading, writing, painting and drawing- even though I'm not very good-, dancing, baking and cooking- mostly baking, some clothes designing, acting- which I used to think I was good at but then stuff happened-, and, umm, Cimorelli. Obviously." She nervously laughs then looks back down for a second, but then her head shoots back up. 

"That's so cool! I like painting too! I paint my clothes, as I'm sure you've seen," Amy says excitedly. 

"I paint my clothes too, but mostly just paper." There is a moment of silence again. 

"I like baking and cooking too. As you saw earlier. Oh, and writing! You should show me sometime! if you want to," Kath says then smiles at her. I study her face to see her reaction, but all she does is smile and nod. 

"I like fashion, so there's that!" Dani says, trying to hide her excitement, but failing. 

"I used to act, and so did Christina!" Lauren breaks in. 

"Yeah! And I choreograph our routines- which you will learn for the tour," Chris says. It goes quiet for a second, then I speak up. 

"I like to sing, so I guess that means that you're a little bit of all of us, huh?" Alexandria smiles and nods, but I can see the panic and overwhelm in her eyes. I guess Christina sees the same thing because she redirects the conversation away from Alexandria, and towards the tour and getting the recording for Alexandria done. 

After a while, the others are just talking and laughing about random things, but I'm worried about Alexandria. She's barely taken 5 bites of her food. I tell myself to watch her, but don't worry yet. She's not super skinny and has no visible signs of a disorder, so maybe she just really isn't hungry. After everyone finishes, we are all talking, when Lauren notices Alexandria's plate. 

"You didn't eat...?" Lauren asks her.

"I'm just... not hungry, I guess." She shrugs. I look at Chris, and she looks at me with a blank face, but I can see the worry in her eyes. Then I meet eyes with Kath and she gives me a more I-Told-You-So look. 

"Oh," Lauren says. I look over at Christina, and she's looking at me for whether she should push it or let it go. I mouth for her to just let it go. We all start to clean up, and Kath puts the full plate in the fridge. After we all stand up, we walk into the living room and all sit down to watch a movie. I'm on the right side of the couch, Kath is next to me, then Alexandria, then Lauren. Christina and Dani are laying on the floor, and Amy is in a chair. Suddenly, Alexandria stands up. 

"Where's the restroom? down here I mean." Its silent as Chris, Kath and I look at each other, then Kath stands up. 

"I'll take you. Follow me." She grabs Alexandria's hand then lead her off before she can protest. while their gone, Lauren motions for Chris and I to come over, so we do. 

"I'm kinda worried about Alexandria. From what I've seen, she's barely eaten all day. Do you guys know anything?" Lauren says once we go over. Christina and I look at each other and make a mutual decision. We both shake our head and go back to our seats, but Lauren sits back. 

"I hope she's okay..." 

Me too, Laur, me too.
