 Amy's POV

"...And I'm just really worried about her, well, for all of them really. I mean, she's like my little sister already, and I love her so much and I hate that they got into an accident. I mean, what if she gets even more hurt, or-"

"Amy, calm down. She's going to be fine. I helped her clean her injuries after the accident, and the most major thing was a cut on her ribcage. Yes, it was pretty bad, but it doesn't even need stitches."

"But-"

"No buts, she's gonna be fine."

"Okay..." I breathe out, trying to calm down. "Lauren, can I ask you something?"

"Um, yeah, of course. What's up?" She responds, looking kinda nervous.

"Do you like Al-" I get cut off by Lisa banging through the door. Lauren and I are in Lisa and I's room though, so I guess it doesn't matter. Lauren jumps and falls off the bed, but luckily lands on a pile of blankets and clothes. Clean clothes, I hope. Lisa sees Lauren fall and, laughing, goes and helps her up. Lauren glares at her, but we all know she doesn't mean it.

"So, why did you come barging in here?" Lauren asks, taking Lisa's hand.

"First of all, this is my room too. I can come in however I want. Second of all, Christina wants us all downstairs in-" She checks her phone for the time, "5 minutes. See you down there." She turns and goes to walk out, but Lauren calls out as she opens the door.

"Lisa?" Lisa turns around and looks at Lauren with a "go on" sort of face. "Alexandria too?" Lauren asks her tentatively. After a second, Lisa breaks into a wide grin, nodding, then walks out. I look at Lauren, wriggling my eyebrows. Her face turns bright red and she looks down.

"Shut up, Amy." I laugh at her embarrassment.

"So you do like her?" I ask excitedly.

"Honestly, I don't know. I think I feel attraction to her, but at the same time, she feels to me like I feel to Lisa; like an actual younger sibling. Dani and I are so close in age and just so close in general, so she doesn't count." I nod, trying to wrap my mind around that when I suddenly remember what Lisa said and jump up, looking at the time.

"Crap! We've gotta be downstairs and ready to leave the house in, like, one minute!" Lauren jumps up as well. She just needs to do makeup, and I just need to get dressed. She runs into the bathroom, not even shutting the door, and I run into my closet and pick out mom jeans that I painted sunflowers on and a white shirt with a yellow tank top over it.

"I'm using you and Lisa's makeup!" Lauren yells out at me, "Just go ahead and go downstairs and tell Christina that I'll be down in five minutes or less!" I nod, then realizing she can't see me, verbally respond.

"Okay!" I yell back at her, then I burst out the door and sprint down the stairs.

Lauren's POV

Shoot shoot shoot shoot! Lauren hurry up but don't mess anything up because Alexandria is gonna be there and you wanna look good for her even though you may or may not have a crush on her you have to look good just in case you do!

I put the finishing touches on my makeup- done in record time by the way- and run out. It is very simple though, just the skin basics with some mascara. I run out of the bathroom and to my room and grab some vans, then run downstairs, two at a time- don't try this at home. On the last three steps, I am caught up in my thoughts that I don't realize that there are three steps left, not two. I misjudge where I need to go and fall down the last step and right into, of course, Alexandria.
