Maia and David continued to hang out at lunch. David decided to ask her about Josh.

“Why don’t you go for him like Tiffany said?” David questioned, not looking at Maia.

“I would, he’s such a good guy and cute but I don’t really know,” Maia replied.

“You seem to like each other. Josh talks about you sometimes,” David said.

“What does he say?” Maia asked.

“Just about you, like what you’re saying to me I guess,” David replied.

“Oh,” Maia said blushing.

“I’m not sure if I should say it all. Some of the stuff he said I don’t know what you will say,” David said.

“What is it?” Maia asked unsure.

David put his hand over his mouth and smiled trying to tease Maia.

“Tell me David!” Maia said.

She started pushing him lightly as he started laughing. He started walking up ahead of her as she followed along begging for him to tell her what he is talking about.

“Okay, well he tells me about your conversations I was just saying that. He was telling me he wants to turn you on and do stuff,” David said.

Maia started to giggle.

“Was that so hard to say? Oh well that’s cute,” Maia replied.

“I don’t know if I should have like if he would say I can,” David replied.

  

Maia and David started bumping into each other on purpose as they were walking. Maia would take out her phone and David would lean over to look and Maia would do the same to him.

“We have to do this more often, it’s seriously cool to hang with you. You’re such a great friend,” David said with a smile.

“Thanks David, I feel the same,” Maia looked up and smiled.

Jill started finishing her test; in the middle of it she went to the bathroom. She looked out the window and saw David and Maia together laughing. She felt left out and upset. She hurried and went back to her class to finish the test.

“Jill has told me a lot about you. You guys seem to be good friends,” David said.

“Yeah she has told me about you too. We should talk ourselves instead of through her,” Maia replied with a chuckle.

“What has Jill said about me?” David asked trying to look at Maia.

“Oh a lot you don’t even know,” Maia replied.
