Maia had a casual phone call with David then decided to go try to sleep. She kept tossing and turning and just couldn’t seem to get to sleep.

She had Josh send her a cutesy good night text but she decided to leave it because she had already said good night and they had already talked.

Maia couldn’t stop thinking about how David and Jill were back together. She cheated on him and he was upset. He went to her for help and just gets back together with her like that. She couldn’t understand why that was.

Finally, Maia fell asleep and woke up to her phone with a “Good morning beautiful,” text from Josh. She saw it and then got up and just got ready to go walk to school with Jill.

She forgave Jill and they talked the night before, so she was going to try to keep David out of their conversation. She got to the meeting spot and right away they started walking.

“I’m so tired, I got like no sleep last night,” Maia said.

“That sucks. Me on the other hand, had a great sleep!” Jill said.

Maia couldn’t sleep much because of over thinking about so many things that she was annoyed with. Jill got a good amount of sleep because she knew her and David were back together again after their break.

“I’m so glad that I’m back with David. Sorry again for yesterday Mai,” Jill said.

“Don’t need to apologize again girl,” Maia said.

“So relieved David forgave me,” Jill said with a smile.

Maia gave her a quick smile to that. But inside she didn’t feel that smile because it was just a fake cover up, didn’t have words to say anything so a smile would work.

She pulled out her phone and saw Josh’s message from this morning and just quickly replied “Morning” then put her phone away as they entered school.

They walked around after the lockers then David came. He joined them and as he approached, he hugged Jill and gave her a slight kiss on the cheek. Maia just acted like nothing happened.

“So tired,” Maia complained.

“Poor girl,” David said.

Maia wasn’t in the mood for anything, she just pulled out her phone again and pretended she had something happening on it meanwhile David and Jill were holding hands and talking as they walked.

“I’m going to class early, see you guys later,” Maia said.
