It was the next day after David asked out Jill and they started going out. It was presentation day for David, Maia and Tiffany’s vocal assignment. The bell rang and they all headed to their classes.

  Maia had realized something different about their classroom. It wasn’t as full and the teacher wasn’t there. If a teacher doesn’t show up to class in the first ten minutes, students usually leave. Mr. Hamson didn’t show up.

“Guess our presentations are tomorrow since sir isn’t here today,” Tiffany said to Maia and David.

“Whatever, at least we have extra time,” Maia replied.

“Yeah, I’m glad he isn’t here so we have more time. Wanna get out of here?” David suggested.

  They walked out of class and went by their lockers to sit down.

“Congrats on you and Jill,” Tiffany brought up to David.

  Maia shifted her eyes to the side, and decided to pull out her phone since she thought they would probably start talking about this.

“Thank you, it happened yesterday,” David replied.

“Yeah I heard, you guys are so cute I hope you guys last!” Tiffany said.

“Thanks, so do I. I’m happy,” David said with a smile.

  When Maia checked her phone she got a text from Josh.

“On Saturday I could see if I could come back and we can all hang again?” the text read.

“Hey what are you guys doing Saturday?” Maia asked Jill and David.

“I was going to hang with Jill, but what’s up?” David asked.

“I’m not doing anything so I’m down for whatever you’re saying,” Tiffany said.

“K, lets hang again like we did last Sunday?” Maia asked them.

“Sure sounds cool,” Tiffany replied to the idea.

“Sure, Jill will be there so it still works out,” David said.

  Maia smiled and then looked back down at her phone to go back to reply to Josh’s message.

“Yeah, let’s do that. Saturday same thing,” Maia replied.

“Is Josh going to come again?” Tiffany asked, directing to Maia.

“Why?” David asked.

“I was talking to Maia, and why not?” Tiffany replied.
