Ace's POV'S

I knocked on the door before opening it slightly, peeking inside, I found Phoebe on my bed, still sleeping. Binuksan ko ang pinto widely and stepped inside before closing it behind me. Walking towards the bed, I stood there, studying her peaceful face, completely different sa nakita ko half an hour ago.

She completely stood out sa street. I thanked God that I was driving in that area at that specific time or else... hindi ko alam kung sino ang makakakita sa kanya.

I frowned as I recalled the memory. She was on her knees, crying. I thought maybe I could help her, so I stopped on the side of the street and ran towards her. As I approached her, her face becomes more visible, and I was surprised to find Phoebe. She wore a plain long sleeve nightgown that stopped just below her knees. Her hair was down and wet because of the rain, and her feet were dirty and bloody.

She looked vulnerable, fragile, lost, and... in so much pain.

I sat down on the bed and gently stroke her hair away from her face. The movement makes her stirred, and within a few seconds, her eyes slowly fluttered open. She blinked twice as she looked at me with confusion before looking around and back at me.

"Nasaan ako?" tanong nya with gruffed voice. She cleared her throat and slowly sat up and adjusted herself until she can lean her back against sa headboard.

I took a couple of pillows and placed it behind her, she murmured her thanks before asking the question again.

"My place," I answered, giving a small smile.

"Your place?" her eyes wander around before stopping sa door and gazing back at me, worry written on her face.

"Don't worry," I assured her, fixing the blanket for her. "we're the only one here."

Her brows furrowed before tilting her head. "Is that supposed to make me feel better?"

I chuckled. "I'm a good guy, I don't do anything without permission."

"Just like how you kissed me."

I scratched my head before smiling. "That kiss... I had to do it."

"You had to?"

"I thought if I didn't do it, I would definitely regret it. It was now or never."

She looked down, her hair covering her face. Although I thought I caught a glimpse of redness sa cheeks nya, I quickly dismissed the idea when her eyes met mine, and there were no traces of it.

"Paano naman ang damit ko?" she raised her eyebrow challengingly.

"What about your clothes?"

She pointed at my black shirt na suot nya before spreading her arms, noticing kung gaano kalaki ang damit ko sa kanya. She lifted the blankets, and her eyes got wider bago nya niyakap ang sarili nya.

"Wala akong pants," she stated, a horrifying look sa face nya

I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from laughing. She looked innocent and cute.

"You weren't wearing any pants when I found you."

Napatigil sya sa pag galaw as she tried to remember something. A looked of terror flashed on her face before it disappeared, but it was enough for me to know that something had happened to her. Enough for her to feel scared. Enough for her to cry like there was no tomorrow. Enough for her to fake a smile and pretend that everything was okay so that I wouldn't ask any questions.

But it was also enough for me to stop waiting for her to open up and find out what's really going on. I will do it, kahit alam kong magagalit sya sa akin.
