Phoebe's POV's
An hour left.
I thought as I walked to a table and smiled at the couple na nakaupo.
"Hi, my name is Phoebe, and I will be your server for today" Sabi ko habang naka smile. "Can I start you guys with a drink?"
The woman looked up, and I couldn't help but be amazed. She was gorgeous. Dark brown hair and eyes, morena, matangos ilong at naka lipstick na kulay nude. She wore makeup with perfect eyebrows. Maganda ang ngiti nya at mukha rin syang matangkad, but that's not for sure since napansin ko na mataas ang heels nya. She wore a tight black dress that hugs her incredibly fit body.
Something that I'm pretty sure I could not pull off.
"Hi" sabi nya with a cheerful tone bago tumingin sa name tag ko. "Phoebe" Nag smile ako sa kanya, even though hindi tama ang pronunciation nya sa pangalan ko.
"Hello"
"You have a very unique name," she said while looking at me with kind eyes.
"Thank you" pasalamat ko. I could tell na maganda ang accent nya sa English.
"Didn't you hear what she said?" Rinig kong tanong ng kasama nyang lalake.
Napatingin ako sa guy but he wasn't looking at me, instead he was looking sa kasama nya.
"What?" Tanong ng girl na napatingin kay guy.
"You said her name wrong."
Lumaki mga mata ng babae bago sya tumingin sa akin a with apologetic face. "Oh, I'm genuinely sorry."
"That's okay," I assured her right away with a smile. "People tend to mispronounce my name all the time. I got used to it now."
"How do you pronounce it?" Tanong nya curiously
"It's obvious that you weren't listening earlier," bulong ng kasama nya.
Napangiti ako sa kanila. "It's Phoebe (fi-bi)"
She nodded. "Oh, right. Yes, of course. That's how you pronounce it."
"You've been living here in the Philippines for too long." Sabi ni guy while looking at the menu. "You even forgot how to pronounce that name"
The girl smiled sa guy before sya tumingin sa menu nya. "I love the Philippines." She laughed lightly. "It's more fun in the Philippines, right?"
"I'll have some ice tea, please" biglang sabi ni guy at tumango ako to let him know na narinig ko.
"Water for me, please" sabi naman ng babae.
"Ice tea and water it is" sabi ko before ako umalis.
"More fun in the Philippines, eh?" Narinig kong tanong ni guy. "I don't know about that."
Hindi ko na narinig ang response ng babae since pumunta na ako sa kitchen para ibigay ang order nila.
"Ice tea and water please" sigaw ko para marinig ako sa ingay at busy ng mga tao.
