Phoebe's POV's

It was just like what I wanted.

I sat on the ground and leaned my back against the tree, looking at the students playing basketball sa court. Ace is in there playing with his friends and other basketball players. They probably miss playing since I haven't seen them play since the exam.

Ace roaring laugh got my attention back to him. Kausap nya mga kaibigan nya, and they seem to be talking something funny since they were all laughing happily.

He looks happy, this is for the better. Pagkatapos kung sabihin iyon sa kanya kahapon, he changed. He no longer looks at me, no longer talks to me or even acknowledges my presence... just like what I've been doing to him.

It does suck having to taste your own medicine.

"Sightseeing?"

I turned my head and found Faith standing behind me. Ngumiti sya sa akin bago sya umupo sa tabi ko, leaning her back against the tree as she closed her eyes.

I pulled my knees to my chest before wrapping my arms around it and resting my head sa knees ko, looking at her.

She was quiet for a couple of minutes, taking a deep breath before opening her eyes and looking back at me.

"Am I going to be your maid of honour?" She asked, a smile on her lips.

I smiled, shaking my head. "We're not gonna have a ceremony."

She nodded, turning her head para tumingin sa mga naglalaro.

"Do you love him?" She asked, pulling up her knees to her chest like mine. "Do you even like him?"

"Does it matter?" I asked instead of answering her question. Looking kung saan sya nakatingin.

"Oo namam." Sagot nya. "Marriage is a commitment. It's not something na gagawin mo lang kasi wala kang magawa. It takes a lot of responsibility. Ready ka ba?"

I sighed, looking kung nasaan si Ace. "Hindi ko alam."

"Why didn't you tell me?" tanong nya ng tahimik, a hint of hurt in her tone. "I had no idea na yung best friend ko mag papakasal na."

I looked down, feeling guilty since Faith had been nothing but pleasant to me. Best friend ko sya, we share everything with each other. So, I understand kung bakit sya masasaktan.

"Sorry, ah," I said in a low tone. "For the past few weeks, I haven't been a good friend to you."

"Anong pinagsasabi mo?" She asked in a low tone as well. "Kung may so-sorry sa ating dalawa, ako yun."

I turned to look at her with confusion. She turned to look at me as well, giving me a sad smile.

"I've been busy, and I haven't even ask you kung okay ka lang," she explained, pouting her lips. "Sorry."

I smiled before moving to get closer to her and linked my arms sa kanya. "Ako din, sorry."

"I forgive you." She said.

"Me too."

She rested her head sa shoulder ko, watching the game that is still going on. I did the same, resting my head slightly sa ulo nya as we both quietly watch yung game.

"Girl," She said after a while. "Nag break na kami."

Napatingin ako sa kanya ng mabilis but she didn't move, just stayed sa pwesto nya.

"Anong nangyari?" I asked quietly, not quite sure kung ano gagawin ko.

She sighed a deep one. "Just... I broke up with him."
