Zuko x Reader: Love Burns [COMPLETED]

Sozins Comet: Part One

(A/N): DON'T FRET, this book will be continuing past Sozins Comet :)

I watched Aang and Zuko practice fire bending. Zuko seemed a little on edge. 

"More ferocious! Imagine striking through your opponent's heart!" Zuko screamed. 

Aang stopped fire bending, "I'm trying."

"Now let me hear you roar like a tigerdillo!" Zuko yelled, and Aang let out some fire with a pathetic excuse for a roar, "That sounded pathetic! I said roar!"

Aang gave a more hefty roar, sending three blasts of fire out. Momo ran and hid behind Zuko's leg. Zuko gave Aang a nod of approval. 

"Who wants a nice cool glass of watermelon juice?" Katara asked, holding up two water melons. 

"Ooh, ooh! Me, me, me!" Aang said, and started running towards Katara. Zuko grabbed the back of Aang's shirt, "Hey! Our lesson's not over yet! Get back here!" He yelled. 

"Why are you so screamy?" I asked him. 

"Why am I so- what? I'll tell you wh-"

I waved my hand dismissively, "I don't care."

"Come on, Zuko. Just take a break. What's the big deal?" Sokka asked him. 

"Fine!" Zuko let Aang go, Aang went to grab the watermelon but I snatched it before he could, "sorry Aang, but it's mine."

"If you want to lounge around like a bunch of snail sloths all day, then go ahead!" Zuko yelled walking away. 

I sighed, and everyone looked at me, "what?" I asked them. 

"Well... aren't you going to go after him?" Katara asked. 

"Why do I always have to check on Zuko?" I whined. 

"Because... you guys are dating?" Sokka said. 

I sighed, "Fine."

I got up and walked in Zuko's general direction, "cause you guys are dating," I mumbled under my breath, mocking Sokka. 

I came across Zuko brooding and sitting on a rock, "why are you so depressing?"

He turned to me, "can I be alone? For once, can you stop suffocating me?"

I flinched, "wow. message received, loud and clear. Bye," I turned around and started to walk away.

"(Y/N)! Wait, I'm sorry!"

I froze Zuko to his spot, without turning around, "save it."

I continued walking away, unfreezing Zuko, a few steps later. I joined the group, to see a really weird sand sculpture done by Sokka. 

"Ta da!" Sokka exclaimed. 

"Is that a blubbering blob monster?" Aang asked him. 

"No, it's Suki!" Sokka said defensively. 

"Wow, art is not your calling Sokka. I think you should stick to the boomerang, I am so sorry, Suki." I said.

"I think it's sweet." Suki said. 

Sokka's face lit up and he kissed Suki on the cheek. 

"Ew." I said. 

"Oh, like you and Zuko are any better," Sokka said to me.

I stuck my tongue out at him. 

Suddenly, a fire blast destroyed the Suki sculpture. 

I looked up to see who fired the blast, and was met by Zuko.
