Boris pov

Bendy and I were walking through a forest at night for reasons beyond my mind. I only agreed to come because I didn't want bendy to be out alone. I know how easily he can get drunk, and who knows what could happen if a drunk and flirtatious guy was walking down the street with no self defense what so ever.

Anyway, as we were walking, something projected light from the moon and caught my attention. I stopped in my tracks and looked in its direction. What was it? Being curious, I approached it. It had to be something matalic.....or maybe a mirror....? I reached where the light came from, seeing a scrap of metal.

Curiously, I picked it up, examining it. Just a regular piece of metal....why is it in the middle of the forest? For no real reason, I put it in my pocket. "Boris! Come on! You scared me to death!" Bendy says, grabbing my arm. "Sorry, bro!" I say as bendy drags me.

I sat on my bed, swiveling the metal piece around in my fingers. It graining my fur every now and then, but nothing that was painful. I couldn't help but question what it's used for. And how it got so far out into the forest.

What could be it's purpose?

That's the question that kept me up all night. I needed to know what it's use is. Before curiousity kills me.

Cuphead and bendy were having one of their daily arguments, which meant mugman and I could leave without them noticing. So I decided to ask him what he thinks the purpose of this metal scrap is, without the interruption of our brothers.

"Hey mugs, what do you think this is for?" I ask, holding it out for him. He cocks his head to the side, staring at it with confusion. "Hmm, I don't know. It looks like a random piece of metal. Why do you even have it?" He asks. "It just feels like it's important. Like it serves some sort of purpose that can help me in the future" I say, staring at the metal scrap. "That sounds.....odd. You know, now that I think about it....I feel as though I've seen something similar to that..." Mugman says, pondering. Silence flooded over us as I let mugs think.
He then smiled, "I think I know where I saw it! Come on!". Before I could say anything, mugs grabbed my arm and dragged me somewhere. I didn't protest and let him take me wherever it is he's going.

(Y/n) pov

I sat motionless in this abandoned warehouse. I'd been left there by my creator. Not being satisfied with the way I turned out to be. I'd been here for a few years, alone. Nothing to do. No interactions what so ever. Footsteps then caught my attention. Thoughts spiraled throughout my head. What if it's my creator coming back to destroy me?! I decided that I wanted to hide. So that's what I did. I hid behind a stack of cardboard boxes. Waiting in the shadows for whatever was out there.

Soon, footsteps and voices came closer. "Wow, this place is way more run down than the last time I was here" I hear a male voice say, followed by an impressed whistle. "It's kinda creepy..." another male says, "maybe we should leave". "Don't worry, Boris! We'll be safe! Especially with my ability!" The first male boasts. It seemed like these two were dangerous, or maybe just some crazy kids. Either way, I want them out. I slowly began to move within the shadows, trying to be as silent as possible. Which was extremely difficult since my joints were rusted. I then accidentally knocked something over, causing a lot of noise. I froze, startled by myself. "What was that!?" The second male exclaims. "Maybe it was a rat...?" The first male says, not sure in his words.

Boris pov

I became on edge as I grabbed mugs' arm for comfort, trying to acknowledge that I wasn't alone. I took deep breaths, compressing my nerves and calming my mind. A shimmer caught my attention. A small hole was in the ceiling, creating a small spotlight of sunlight. Which illuminated something that was obviously made from metal if it could shimmer. My ears lowered as I slowly pull myself closer to mugs. Then, I saw something in the shadows. A figure. I yelp loudly, hiding behind mugs who accidentally shot at whatever was in the shadows. Silence fell as the ringing of the shot slowly faded away. "Whoops...." Mugs mumbles, not moving his sight from the shadows. "Darn right, whoops!" A scratchy yet feminine voice yells. Then, the figure walked out of the shadows, revealing a female....? But...made from metal? What?! She had a hole in her shoulder, which must be from mugs' shot. "U..uh....s..sorry...?" Mugs says, a nervous smile on his face. "You should be s-so-sorry!" The female's voice seemed to glitch, like it's not been used in years. I decided to take in the female's appearance. She did look like a robot, a generic robot from sci-fi or cartoons. She was sentient. Having a mind of her own. It's kind of creepy. Maybe she's a lost soul who took refuge in a robot. That's even scarier.

"E..excuse me...um, sorry about that. I..I'm Boris. And this is mugman" I say, stepping away from mugs with a polite smile as my ears and tail layed limp. She looked me up and down, "4008". "What?" Mugs and I ask. The female rolls her eyes, "4008. That's my name". "Odd...name. But cool I guess" mugs smiles. "To be honest, (y/n) fits you better" I accidentally say my thoughts out loud. "Really? Well....it's nice to have a 'regular' name" the now '(y/n)' shrugs. A smile pulls at my lips as a red hue dusted over my face.

3rd pov

Boris, mugman and (y/n) have been talking for the past hour, not even realising the time that has transitioned by. They all have grown a small friendship, but Boris is more interred in it. He finds this female interesting. He wants to know more about her. He loves her.

But she can never love him back. She's emotionless.

(Boom! Done! I got a little distracted while writing this, I was binging a bunch of horror, so that's why it took long. Was supposed to be out yesterday, so sorry for that! See y'all in the next one! Bye!!)
