Chapter 22

Nagising si Delphine na wala na sa tabi niya si Lucian. Umalis siguro ito nang makatulog na siya ulit. She checked the time, it was already eight in the morning, she jolted up nang makita ang oras. Late na siyang nagising, gising na si Shelly ng seven, at kailangan niya pa itong asikasuhin.
     Nagmamadaling bumangon si Delphine at mabilis ba nagshower at nagbihis. Di na niya nagawa  pang iblow dry ang buhok dahil wala na siyang oras. Mabilis siyang lumabas ng kwarto at pinuntahan si Shelly sa kaharap na kwarto. Pagbukas niya ng pinto ay wala sa kama si Shelly, she checked her bathroom at wala rin ito sa loob, but she noticed the damp towel on the hanger. Nakaligo na si Shelly?  She thought. Nagmadali siyang bumaba at hinanap si Shelly, at pagpunta niya sa dining area ay bigla siyang napangiti. Nag -uusap si Shelly at Lucian, they both speak while using sign language. Lumapit si Delphine sa kanila, at nang makita siya ni Lucian, a wide smile crept on his face. Namula naman ang mga pisngi ni Delphine.
     “Good morning” ang bati sa kanya ni Lucian.
     “Good morning” ang sagot ni Delphine and they looked at each other. Naputol lang ang pgtititigan nila ni Lucian ng hilahin ni Shelly ang kanyang sleeves.
     “Yes Shelly?” ang tanong ni Delphine at naupo na sa tabi nito. Nagsign sa kanya si Shelly, and she smiled widely at Shelly.
     “Really? Kayo ang naghanda nito?” ang tanong ni Delphine sabay tingin sa mga nakahaing pagkain sa lamesa, “I’m sure masarap ito”.
     Lucian poured some coffee on her cup, and she murmured a thank you, “gusto ka naming isurprise ni Shelly ng breakfast, breakfast in bed sana kaso naalala ko” then Lucian murmured, “I left you totally naked in bed” ang bulong ni Lucian na nagpapula sa mga pisngi ni Delphine.
     “Thank you sa pagasikaso mo kay Shelly, I’m sorry I over slept” ang nahihiyang sabi ni Delphine.
     “Ang saya ko nga eh, ngayon ko lang na experience ang pag asikaso sa kanya, and I KNEW you’re tired” ang meaningful na sabi ni Lucian kay Delphine, at namula na naman ang mga pisngi nito.
     Ipinaglagay ni Shelly si Delphine ng pancake sa kanyang plato, “thank you Shelly” ang sabi niya rito, sabay haplos sa matataba nitong pisngi.
     “Yhor whel-kam Dephi” ang sagot ni Shelly, na lubos na ikinatuwa ni Lucian. He’s so proud with the progress of her daughter, and he had Delphine to thank for.
     “Pagkatapos mong kumain, may bago tayong lesson tungkol sa family okey?” Ang sabi ni Delphine kay Shelly, who pouted her lips for an answer.
     Natawa naman si Lucian sa hitsura ng anak, “maybe Shelly needed a break” ang sagot niya.
     Delphine sighed, “gusto mo bang magpunta tayo sa park?”.
     Shelly slumped on her chair and shook her head, her soft curls bounced on her head.
     “How about sa mall, you want to eat somewhere?” Delphine asked, but Shelly again shook her head.
     “I have  a better idea” Lucian answered.
     “What?” Delphine asked.
     “Bakit di tayo mag swimming? We’ll go back in Zambales, doon sa exclusive resort na pinuntahan ko. NATIN” ang sabi ni Lucian and he looked meaningfully in her eyes.
     Yes, that memorable place, paano niya ito makalilimutan, she thought. Sinabi ni Delphine kay Shelly ang balak ng kanyang daddy at halos mahulog ito sa upuan dahil sa excitement.
     “Pero teka, baka may engagements ka ngayong araw?” ang alalang tanong ni Delphine kay Lucian.
     “I’ll call my secretary to cancel my appointments for today hanggang three days, I owe Shelly this trip for her progress. And also to you”.
     Isang ngiti lang ang naisagot ni Delphine, she wanted to get close to him and kiss his mouth. But she refrained herself.
     “And kung gusto mo, pwede ba naming mameet ni Shelly ang nanay mo?” Ang tanong ni Lucian.
     Delphine was so happy to hear that, ang tagal ng panahon na hindi niya nakita ang ina, at sobrang miss na niya ito.
     “I loved that” ang nakangiting sagot ni Delphine.

     Pagkatapos nilang mag impake ng gamit ay bumiyahe na sila patungong Zambales, hapon na ng marating nila ang exclusive resort, at nagcheck in silang muli sa dating villa.
     Pagpasok sa loob ay agad na napatingin si Delphine sa malaking sofa, and she felt the heated gaze of Lucian on her. Pareho nilang naalala ang gabing iyun.
     Delphine cleared her throat, and she looked at Shelly na paikot ikot sa loob ng villa.
     “Nagustuhan mo ba rito Shelly?” tanong ni Delphine, and Shelly nodded vigorously. Agad nitong itinuro ang private pool na nasa labas.
     “Gusto mo na bang mag swimming?” ang tanong ni Lucian at sumagot ng “yes” si Shelly.
     “Pwede bang bukas na lang tayo magpunta sa nanay mo?” Ang tanong ni Lucian kay Delphine.
     “Oo naman, importante na mag-enjoy muna si Shelly” ang sagot ni Delphine, “magpalit ka muna ng swimsuit mo Shelly bago tayo magswimming okey?”.
     “I’ll order some food, magpalit na kayo ng damit” ang sabi sa kanila ni Lucian.
    Ilang sandali pa ay nakalublob na sa tubig sina Delphine at Shelly, they decided to go to the front beach kaysa sa private pool ng villa. Shelly was having so much fun, ilang maya-maya ay sumunod na rin sa kanila si Lucian na naka board shorts.
      Nilapitan sila ni Lucian, at nang mapalapit na siya kay Delphine he secretly squeezed her butt. Pinanlakihan siya ni Delphine ng mata at napasulyap ito kay Shelly kung nakita nito ang ginawa niya. But Shelly was busy playing with the small waves. And Lucian only winked and grinned at her.
     When Shelly saw him, sinabuyan siya nito ng tubig at naghabulan ang mag-ama sa tubig. Tumakbo si Shelly sa buhanginan at hinabol pa rin siya ni Lucian. Nang maabutan ni Lucian si Shelly ay kiniliti niya ito hanggang sa halos di na makahinga sa katatawa.
     Delphine followed them at naupo siya sa buhanginan.
     “Let’s bury daddy under the sand!” ang sabi ni Delphine.
     “No! No!” Lucian answered while laughing.
     “Please dahdi” ang sabi ni Shelly na nagpacute pa.
     Lucian groaned, “okey! Pero may isang conditon” ang sabi ni Lucian.
     “Ano?” tanong ni Delphine.
     Inilapit ni Lucian ang  kanyang bibig sa tenga ni Delphine, “I’ll bury my dick on you later” ang bulong  niya. Na nagpainit ng mga pisngi ni Delphine na gumapang sa kanyang katawan.
     Maghapon silang naglaro sa buhanginan at nag swimming, ang tanging pahinga nila ay ang kumain sandali then balik na naman sila sa beach.

     It was already late in the evening, nakaupo si Delphine sa isang recliner sa tabi ng private pool. Naisip niya ang mga nangyari maghapon. Sobrang saya nila.      Then biglang dumating si Lucian, may dala itong wine at stemmed glasses. Naupo ito sa isa pang recliner at ipinatong ang dalang wine at glasses sa isang maliit na lamesa.
      “Shelly said her prayer in seconds and not a minute too soon she’s knocked out on her bed. Sobrang pagod siguro, kahit kanyon siguro di magigising si Shelly” ang natatawang sabi ni Lucian.
     “She’s so happy Lucian, I’m so glad at naisipan mo ito para sa kanya” ang sagot ni Delphine.
     Lucian grinned, “and now, it’s our time to relax” ang sabi ni Lucian habang nagsasalin ng wine sa glasses. Iniabot ni Lucian sa kanya ang isang baso and  she murmured a thank you. She only pretend to sip some wine.
     Sumandal si Lucian sa backrest and sipped his wine, they were both silent for a while.
     “I hope we can stay this way even for a while” she said.
     “I can’t see why not?” he asked and he frowned.
     Delphine sighed, “I don’t know Lucian, it’s complicated” she argued.
     “You’re making it complicated” he argued back, “I told you wala na kami ni Loisa, so ano Pa bang problema?”
     Hindi rin alam ni Delphine, but she felt na merong  mali sa kanila. Dahil ba sa hindi nagconfess ng pagmamahal sa kanya si Lucian?
     “We’ll tell Shelly about us, she’ll understand” ang sabi pa ni  Lucian.
     “Huwag muna ngayon, please, let me decide kung kailan” ang sagot ni Delphine.
     “Done deal, now can we relax?”, he asked and grinned at her, “you’re so far come sit with me”.
     Delphine smiled at him and sat beside him. Inakbayan siya ni Lucian at kinabig papalapit siya papalapit dito. Then he grabbed one breast with his hand.

     Delphine was skeptical at first, but she trusted Lucian, so she hastily removed her shirt and shorts and she almost ran towards the pool and she jumped into the water.
