It's Halloween night and my husband, Jonah, and I are sitting on the front porch, handing out Halloween candy to kids. He managed to snake his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I cuddled up to him, my body cold from the cool fall air. "Y'know what?" He asked, resting his head on mine. "Hm?" I asked, holding out the bowl for a kid to pick some candy. "Marrying you was the best decision I have ever made," he sighed, kissing my head. "Yea? Well you wanna know something?" I asked. "What?" "Mine too," I smiled. He rested his head on mine and we I continued handing out candy to the little kids. The more kids I saw, the more I wanted to have a kid. I mean, I would love to be a mom and Jonah would be such an amazing dad. It's perfect timing too, he wouldn't be away for the child's birth if I got pregnant now and he could spend time with the baby after it's born. "Can I ask you something?" Jonah and I both blurted at the same time. "Uh, you go," I said. "No, you go first," he insisted. "Let's just go at the same time," I suggested. "Okay, 3," "2," "1," "Can we please have a baby?" "Can we please have a baby?" Our eyes instantly locked and we burst out laughing. "Wait, you really want a kid?" He asked. "Yea, I really do," I replied. "Are you sure?" "Never been so sure of something in my life," I declared. We both smiled, our lips connecting. "So, when do we start?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows up and down. "Right now works for me," I smirked. He smiled and we ran inside, closing the blinds and locking the door. Lets just say we had a pretty fun night.
