zach and i laid out by the pool, the sun warming our skin. zach has been begging me to get in the pool with him all day, but i only wanted to tan.
i was laying with my eyes closed when all of a sudden, i felt myself being lifted off the chair and carried away.
i opened my eyes as zach threw me into the pool, screaming "yeet" as he did so.
i let the cold water engulf me before swimming to the surface. zach jumped in next to me and wrapped his arms around me, but i pushed him off.
"hey, do you wanna fight?" he asked.
"fuck you, zach," i grumbled.
"wait, are you really mad?"
"yes! i didn't want to get my hair wet! all you did all day is beg me to go in, all you do is whine," i scoffed, dragging myself out of the pool.
he followed me, but kept his head down.
i dried myself off and started heading inside.
"wait, wait, baby. i was kidding around. i'm sorry," he said, wrapping his arms around me.
i sighed and gave him a hug so he would shut up and leave me alone.
i left him and went to take a shower. i showered, cleaned up, and then got ready for bed, seeing as it was getting kind of late.
i was laying in bed, scrolling on my phone when the door to our bedroom opened.
zach walked in with a a bowl of ice cream and his puppy dog eyes. he laid down in bed with me and handed me the ice cream, then laid his head on my shoulder.
"i'm sorry," he whispered, kissing my shoulder.
"it's okay. i'm sorry i got mad, i was just in a mood," i replied.
i turned and gave him a kiss before eating my ice cream.
we ended up watching a whole season of the office before cuddling up together and finally falling asleep.
