strict parents.
they fucking suck.
especially when your out late with your boyfriend and they have an alarm system, so you have to find a way to sneak in.
i walked down the sidewalk with my boyfriend, our hands intertwined.
"so, how the hell are we supposed to get in there?" he asked.
"i don't know yet."
we walked onto my driveway, my eyes searching for a way to get inside without waking my parents.
my eyes landed on the ladder leaning against my house, which would allow us to sneak across the roof and into my room through my window.
"c'mon babe, let's use the ladder," i said, pulling him towards the ladder.
i positioned the ladder and started climbing up, daniel holding it at the bottom so it was sturdy.
as soon as i got to the top, he started to make his way up quietly.
"babe, look. i could be an acrobat," he said, standing on one foot and leaning backwards.
as he was performing his "trick," the ladder started to fall backwards. even though i was trying to be quiet, i lunged forwards and grabbed the ladder, slamming it back against our house so he wouldn't fall.
"what were you thinking?! you could've killed yourself!" i stressed, grabbing his hand and helping him up onto the roof.
"but i didn't," he winked, kissing my cheek to calm me down.
i rolled my eyes and led him to my window, which he helped me open. we slipped inside and stayed still for a moment, hoping that we didn't wake my parents.
after we were sure that they were still asleep, i changed into some comfy shorts and daniel gave me his hoodie. we crawled into bed and he pulled me close to him, letting me play with his fluffy hair. i lightly scratched his head, making him smile.
"y'know what?" he murmured.
"what?"
"we should fuck really quick," he joked, making me punch his shoulder.
"daniel, i can break your nose if i want to," i warned.
"yeah, yeah, whatever you say. get some sleep, beautiful," he said.
i gave him one last kiss before we fell asleep.
