Freedom (Deku x Reader)

Part 71

When the three heros arrived back to campus, Izuku, Iida, and Todoroki ran up to them and asked several questions, but stopped when All Might raised his hand.

"I can't tell you anything on Y/n's condition for everyone's sake, and no one is allowed to see her except for us. Just know that it will be a while till she comes back- and before you ask, I can't tell you how long either. She needs to heal from her wounds, and will be back good as new. Understand?" The three replied with a 'Yes sir' and left for the dorms to tell the others.

After two weeks passed, summer was creeping up and school turned monotonous to the students. Constantly Izuku would ask about Y/n, but as usual, the staff would say she still needs time to heal, so just stay focused on school. 

Aizawa and The Chief of Police would visit the facility regularly as promised, and kept Nezu, Gran Torino, and All Might filled in. On the third week, all 5 were called in by the twin scientists. They arrive quickly and are led to a new lab a few hallways away from the other room Y/n was held in, so they now get to see her. When they go into the room, they gasp at the strange sight.

Y/n was laying inside a diagonal glass case in a loose white shirt and shorts, with large high tech straps holding her entire body down. Tubes and needles stuck her everywhere, and a strange mask was over her mouth. Her hair grew so long, that it reached down past her knees. The twin doctors stood on either side of the pod and started typing on the computers connected to it, as if to check up on something. 

"We had her set up like this for two weeks to make sure that everything is healing correctly, and found something interesting." 

"The hyper-cell and regeneration medicine we created seems to be boosting her healing process more than we anticipated." They explain with amazed expressions. 

Nezu hums while All Might shakes his head in confusion. "Well that sounds great, but what does it mean?" The two stop and look at the girl with a smile.

"It means it has successfully healed all her wounds completely. It may have even strengthened her quirk. She woke up a few hours ago, so we just put her back to sleep till you got here, she's completely fine."

"Ah, here, the dosage wore off, she's waking up now." 

They all watch as y/n began wake up, and the heros just stood around her as the doctors quickly opened the case, took out the needles and tubes, then immediately took off her restraints. When they were done, they dismissed the other scientists and left the heroes to talk.

"Ugh, oh my-...." Y/n groans and clutched her own stomach after sitting up.

"Wh-what is it!? Do you need the doctors again??" All Might yells as the others panic. She shakes her head and yawns as if nothing happened.

"Nah, I'm just really hungry, do you guys wanna buy me food? I left my wallet at the dorm." She says nervously and hopped off the lab table. They all huff in relief and hold back the urge to hit her since she just healed.

AIzawa rolls his eyes and heads or the door. "Whatever, let's just get out of here."

(Your P.O.V)

I enjoy our talk in the car with the other 5 on the way to school. I scarfed down the last bit of food I had and smiled in happiness. We were dropped off as The Chief drove off, and I hear footsteps running up, and I turn to see Snipe, Thirteen, Present Mic, Ectoplasm, and other heros I recognize. The last one I see, is Midnight. She gasps at me, and falls to her knees, tears already falling from her face. I go up and run to her, engulfing her in a hug as some of the other heros I was close with joined in the group hug. 

After my moment with the heros,  All Might and Nezu led me back to my room on the roof of the dorm, and I saw the room was the same as they day I left it. My clothes were strewn across the floor when I was in a hurry to get to Midnight 3 and a half weeks ago. 

While they waited outside, I changed into the nice clothes that Midnight got me a long time ago. I leave my room and Nezu and All Might fill me in on what I missed while I was in a comma at the table outside my room while Midnight cuts my hair back to how I want it.

"Not much happened for the past 3 weeks. Since summer is about to start later on, it's been getting more hot, so students are taking this moment to regain their strength after resting and is training, then swimming to cool off, so everyone is staying in shape." All Might smiles. "Though they are still studying, it doesn't mean you missed much. It won't be hard for you to catch up." I nod gratefully and ask about the others.

"You can go to the cafeteria when lunch starts to eat more and catch up with your classmates." Nezu said and jumped out of his seat. "Lunch starts in 2 hours. So do as you please. I have some things I need to get done." He said and walked with All Might to the elevator. I waved to them as the door closed and looked up at the sky. The sun was shining greatly beyond the moving clouds, like the day I died. Except this time there was no rain. Everything within me felt light, new, and fresh. Those were the only words I could come up with as I smiled, and closed my eyes, enjoying the cool breeze.
