When she notices this, she stuttered in nervousness and broke the eye contact by looking down to the sand.

"U-uh, h-hi. I'm y/n l/n. It's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you." He realizes what she said and jumped up. His face lit up red like a glowing red tomato.

"O-oh! Y-yeah! Hi My name is Midoriya Izuku! Nice to meet you too! W- welcome to U.A High." He sweated profusely with a nervous smile. "You look foreign, are you a transfer student?"

Y/n looked to All Might, he nodded his head. "Yes, I am, I'm from America, I recently moved to Japan." She lied.

Midoriya's eyes lit up. "Wow really? What's America like? I've never been there!" She chuckled.

"Well it's everything you'd think it'd be. Just like many American movies depending on what you do, where you are, and who you surround yourself with."

All Might smiles as the two converse well. Y/n answering Midoriya's questions about America, and him answering her questions about Japan for about an hour.....while All Might makes a frumpy looking sand castle. "All right you two, you both can flirt another day, but right now, I want to go home." This made both teens blush and stutter excuses at him. All Might turned into his hero form and squatted down next to Y/n. Midoriya yelped and tried to block the hero from her view. "It's okay young Midoriya, she already knows everything."

"Oh, but how? Why?"

"You'll know soon, but just know that she's okay. Now it's late young man, it is time for us all to go home." Midoriya scratched his head in confusion, but still nodded.

"Okay. Well it was nice meeting you y/n. I guess I'll see you in class tomorrow."

"Same here! See you!" She waved as he ran off, waving back.

(Your P.O.V)

I watched him as he jogged off back to where ever he lived. The more I couldn't see him, the calmer my heart beat got, yet I still found myself smiling wide, as if we were still talking.

"Come young y/n, it is time to show you your new home. I've moved so we will both be living in a living facility meant for UA staff." He put his hands out behind him. "Get on my back!" He smiled. I laughed and gladly hopped on.

"Ride, my heroic stead!" I yelled and pointed forward.

He leaned back and scrapped the sand with his foot two times then, "NEH!!" He belted out a loud horse noise and jumped into the air. The action caught me off guard, causing me to yelp and wrap my arms around his neck in fear. Winds whipped my hair back harshly and my stomach dropped below my gut, but all of those feelings quickly fled. Cautiously, I raised my head and opened my eyes. The sight was magnificent. We were flying high above the land. Lights illuminated every dark corner of the city, making every street and building shimmer. Even the people, that were the size of ants at this height, seemed to be pretty little moving colors of light. The hills and mountains around was softly lit up by the little lights reaching them, and it gave a feeling of warmth; as if the land masses were smiling down on it all.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" All Might brought me back from my thoughts. His smile was genuine as he jumped from another building, then looked to me.

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I've never seen anything like it."

"I'll tell you this. If you graduate from this school, become a hero, and only want to do good- not just for yourself, but others; then you will definitely be able to see this, and more whenever you want. That is all I ask from you." Sighing, I placed my chin on his shoulder.

I've never thought of becoming a hero before, mainly because I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life in prison. But what will I get from doing all that for just for some sightseeing?

"Happiness." I jumped a bit. I didn't know I spoke out loud. "Not just that, but joy in fulfillment by saving others, and winning against villains, knowing that they can't hurt innocent people anymore. Stopping criminals, like the ones that tried to hurt you when you were five." I tightened my arms around him a little, hiding my face in his shoulder. "I read your papers. I'm sorry for what they did to you, but they won't be able to hurt you any more. Or anyone else for that matter. I promise you that." Even though I knew we just met, I knew I could put all my trust in him. It was obvious that he couldn't always protect me from everything, but his words filled me with reassurance anyways. "We're here." We landed on a wide roof top. It held a large pool, two doors on either side of the building, a resting area, and at two corners of the front of the building was two steep ramps that looked well enough to walk up with just a bit of work.

"Fancy. It looks more like a decked out apartment building for rich people."

"Yes, I agree! But it is only this roof area, to thank the teachers and let them treat themselves after school and during the weekend when they don't feel like leaving the comfort of their own home." We walked to one of the doors and All Might pulled out what seemed to be two silver metallic looking key cards. "Here, have one. Since you will be living with me, principal Nezu thought it would be necessary for you to have one if I'm busy at the school or with hero work and can't let you in, so you can have your own so that you can get in too." I thanked him as he handed it to me. I have to make a mental note to thank the principal and also ask him, why he is trusting me with such important things so easily. We walked through the doors, down some stairs, and made our way to another door. Once in, it showed a long lofty-like hallway with many doors. The man from earlier this morning came from one of them. "Ah, Aizawa! How wonderful to see you! Where are you off to?"

'Noted, this is my new home room teacher Principal Nezu was talking about. Aizawa.'

He looked our way and walked up. "I'm just going out to patrol for a couple hours, how about you? You two just coming in?"

"Yes. I want her to get a good night's rest to be ready for the long day tomorrow." Aizawa hummed and looked to me. His stare made me uncomfortable, but not in a dangerous or creepy way, but more between analyzing and possible judging kind of way.

"Hm, well, you two have a good night then." And with that, he walked to the stair door behind us.

"Yes! Good night Eraserhead!" When he left, we headed to a door with our names on it. We walked inside our new home, and was stunned. He turned back to his original form, gawking at the niceness of the place, I was the same. "Dang, I've never lived in a place like this before."

"Hm, neither have I." I said dryly. He turned, looking at me with soft regretful eyes, making me wish I hadn't said it. Then he put a hand on my head.

"I'm so sorry, that I wasn't there for you back then. If I could, I would have come to save you, and made everyone of those villains pay for what they did." His voice was sad, yet strong and full of truth. Tears threatened to spill from my eyes, but he whipped them away before they could.

"I-I, I know, and I thank you. But no one could have known what was going to happen. It was an underground operation, I don't blame you- or any hero for what happened to me." I brought up a smile the best I could. His breath shook, sadness still remaining in his eyes as he hugged me. Then I made sure to never forget, there are some things a single smile just can't save.
