(Midoriya's P.O.V)
After they left, Recovery Girl took our vitals and approved that we were free to go.
"You're fine now, just don't over work yourself today and get plenty rest in bed. Preferably in your own and not in my emergency bed." She joked. Y/n gave a beautiful smile and giggled, making me blush.
"Yes ma'am. I will."
"And you too son. Don't rush yourself in any way. You need to be careful with your head, so don't listen to music too loud for the rest of the day or use any type of head device."
I nodded. "Yes ma'am."
We got dressed behind our own curtains and left the office together, heading back to the class. The walk was awkwardly quiet. I looked at her. She only had bandages on her legs from the gunshot wounds, but they were covered by her socks. Small cuts on her face and lands were slowly healing from the rocks that were flying through the air during battle. If you look at her, it doesn't even look like she was in a fight. She's pretty hard core.
"Why?" She spoke, I jolted from surprise.
"W-Why what?"
She looks at me in confusion. "Why did you run into the fight? You could have died if I didn't stop."
I thought for a moment. "H-honestly, my body just moved on it's own. I seem to be doing that a lot lately. But I guess if I had to claim a motive though, it would be that...I-I couldn't see you get hurt any more. Especially seeing you two hurting each other was very conflicting." I looked back to her, I thought I saw red on her face, but I might be seeing things. "But you, you protected me too. Why?"
"Just like your reasoning. I didn't want you to get hurt." My heart fluttered a bit by that. We continued to walk in more silence. Then curiosity hit me.
"When you reach the limit of your quirk, what happens to you? The attacks you did seemed really intense, and you seemed to snap so..." I asked. She sighed.
"Yeah. As you saw, I can tell when I'm reaching my limit when I lose my sanity. Each time I do, it takes a toll on me. I'm not like other people with quirks. If they use it too much, something will happen with their bodies that tells them when to stop. I'm able to keep going. Just because I go insane, doesn't mean I have to stop, though I should. The insane part of me won't want to stop though, that's the down side of my quirk. When I let go, I can't be stopped. Though, I guess I can if I use my bigger attacks, as I've learned today. I seemed to have passed out." What happened was starting to make sense. "But this time was different. I came down from my usual limits. All when you showed up." She looked me in the eye and smiled. "I guess you keep me sane." My heart skipped a beat and I felt the blood rush to my face too quickly. I covered my face quickly and turned away, looking everywhere nervously, and tried to breathe normally again as there was a tightening in my chest. "I-Izuku, are you okay?" She said my name with concern and touched my back. I squealed and jumped, crumbling to the floor.
'Why?! Why do I always make a fool of myself?'
"U-uh, y-yeah! I just n-need to lay here for a moment."
She giggled, the feeling of butterflies fluttered in my stomach again. "Well, I guess it's a good place to rest, we made it to the class."
"O-oh, you go on ahead. I just need to b-breathe for a moment."
"Okay, see you inside." And with that she walked in.
'Why am I like this?? What is she doing to me?!'
(Your P.O.V)
'I wonder if that's a normal thing for him.' I walk into the class and was bombarded with questions from the other students.
