I try to smile, but the tears broke past and flooded down my face.
"No one has asked me of what I wanted to do." I cry. "Other than the Principal asking if I could fight Toga, but other than that, never." Tears were blurring my vision.
"Then are you being forced to do something you don't want to do?"
I shake my head and grin weakly. "Strangely, no. The things I've been told to do, have been easy....Well, except for......." I trail off and clean my face frustratingly. A silence sat between us, until he took a step closer to me.
"It was when my mom told you to break up with me, wasn't it?" I stiffened, and looked at him. His eyes were full of sadness. I tried to speak, but nothing came out. "I found out when I called her. It was after I called Torino. I was breaking down to her over the phone that I didn't want to move forward without you. I didn't want to go through the Hero's Work Studies without you by my side, or was mine. I even admitted that I might move schools, or change courses, because I hated seeing other guys flirt with you and see you so unhappy and distant." I choked up as my heart started to beat faster and faster at his words. "That's when she told me and apologized for all she's said to you, and that she was wrong-"
"She's not wrong." I interrupt. "I am a danger to you, your happiness, your future, and I can't be around you or-"
"I don't have a future if I don't have you!" He yells, clutching his shirt nervously as tears fell from my eyes. He took another step closer, but I took one back. "We were happy and perfect when we were together. Ever since we parted, life has been hell for the both of us, and you know it!" I shake my head and cover my ears. He takes a step forward as I take a step back. "You know you don't want to continue like this! You don't know how you will handle things if this continues! I know this because I know you! And you know me!" I walk back and he follows after me now as I try to block him out. "So please, be with me again." He pleads. He reaches out to me, and as soon as his fingers touch my arm, flashes of Izuku, bloody and bruised, ran through my mind.
"No!" I scream, ripping my arm from his grasp. "You always get hurt because of me! We get together again, then what?!"
