Freedom (Deku x Reader)

Part 43

(Your P.O.V)

Five days after we enter the hospital, Todoroki is released and goes off back to be in his father's internship. I stayed with Izuku until he was better, and later we both went back to Gran Torino's place and both practiced our new moves together. Iida stayed in the hospital the rest of the internship.

When it was all over and we were back at U.A, we were all together in class talking about our experiences. Well, the others were. Iida, Todo, Izuku and I, not so much. 

Without taking a break. All Might took us to some facility called the Field Gamma. We race against each other to All Might's signal by using what we learned during field training. I was put in a separate group than Izuku's, so I win 1st with no distractions. I'm given praise by All Might and am free to go back to the locker room. As the other girls were walking in, I was informed of Izuku's performance while I was gone. He tripped the last second. I shook my head, and laughed. 

"Of course he would mess up his cool streak like that." I laughed. Soon after, we were almost spied on by Mineta through a hole in the wall. I just left and went back to the classroom.

As time passes, the semester finals exams starts to freak half of the class out. I didn't care to really worry about actually passing final exams, but I still studied for them any ways for something to do. So for the time we had to spare before the tests, I studied and trained by myself since the others seemed to be in their own worlds, doing the same. 

We spent three days doing the written exam, which we all passed. Then came something Mr. Aizawa called, the Practical Exam.

Two students would battle against one teacher. 

As the battles went on, I stood in between Izuku and Katsuki, watching it all happen on the big screen. Not much was said, mainly because we were analyzing what we may be going through next. When it was Izuku and Katsuki's turn I watched intently at Izuku wanting to work together with him, but Katsuki naturally not wanting that at all. It took a while, but it seemed almost as if they were actually working together.

After some more thinking, my name was called. Izuku and Katsuki's exam was done, they had passed. When I was sent to the field, it then hit me that, I was alone. The sound of the principal's voice then came from some hidden speakers.

"Hello miss y/n, because your class is of an odd number now, you will be battling a pro hero alone, but this hero will not be one of our staff, no."

(Izuku's P.O.V)

"No. This Pro Hero is none other than Endeavor himself!" The Principal cheered over the speakers.

"W-what!?" I yelled looking towards the big screen with the rest of the class in shock. 

Everything on screen caught us off guard. There in the dead center of the arena was an angry looking Endeavor, and the arena, wasn't any type of landscape or built area. It was just a flat ground all around, from wall to wall. Nothing to jump on, nothing to hide behind. Then Y/n came walking through the entrance, a look of confusion shown on her face as she looked around until it was covered by hate when she saw the hero. 

Todoroki stomped up to All Might. "What is going on? Why is she going up against my father alone?" I inched forward by his side, also concerned of the situation. All Might sighed and looked to us. 

"These tests were put together to help you get past your weaknesses, as you've all figured out by now. The thing is, with young y/n, we have an odd number of students. Not to mention we're still trying to figure out the extent of her quirk, and her weaknesses. The only thing we had to go off of, washer fight against young Todoroki in the Sports Festival. We figure that if she may have a weakness, it may be to the elements, fire. So we hired Endeavor to fight her. Not to mention, her problem with authority. Mainly him. That is why we put the two together."
