Narrator's POV
Syd and Y/N had been friends for 13 years. They met when they were 12 and they became best friends. Some people would always tease them and say that they were dating just because they hung out a lot. However they were never dating and Y/N never had the thought of dating Syd.

Syd never had the thought of dating her yet he was gaining feelings for her. He started to feel as if she were more than just a best friend.

Then he realized that he loved her a lot, more than a friend. He wanted her to be his girlfriend.

One day, they were hanging out eating lunch together. Syd decided that his was the best time to confess his feelings to her.

"Y/N? I have something to tell you," he spoke up.
"Ok. Go ahead, I'm listening"
"I like you. I like you a lot, more than a friend. So I would like to know if you would be my girlfriend."
"I- Oh my god, Id love to be your girlfriend!" Y/N exclaimed happily.
Syd took her in his arms and gave her a hug and kissed her head.

"I love you."
"I love you too"
