"Hey, Y/N! Watch me break this guitar," Pete said cheerfully as he held a guitar in his hands.
"Wait, Pete, no! Don't break it," you said. The guitar he was holding was a special one you brought him for Christmas last year.
"Why not? Breaking guitars is pretty fun and i can always buy a new one at the store," he said and then he smashed the guitar onto the floor, it didn't break though.
"What the fuck! You almost broke that guitar! Don't you remember I bought it for you last Christmas?" you said, staring at him in horror.
"Wait, really? Wow, I'm so stupid, I can't believe I almost broke it," he said, shocked and accidentally dropped the guitar, causing it to break.
"Oh no," you said staring at the mess.
"I'm so sorry," he said and began picking up the broken pieces.
"It's alright, I'll buy you a new one but you need to promise not to break it," you said.
