Chapter 17- a suprise (friday)

Soon it was the day we got to see mom. I packed my bag and met Alex out in the car.

"I'm so happy we get to see her" I say as I took my seat in the car.

"I know me too, it's nice to spend a few days away from work" Alex says starting up the car.

The radio came on and it played High hopes by panic! At the disco.

"Oh my gosh I love this song" I squeal

"Me too!" Alex says in a childlike voice.

We sang along to quite a few songs and soon we were in moms town where she lived.

We got to her house. Oh.. the memories. We got our bags out of the car and knocked on the door.

The door opened and mom was revealed.
"Come in come in" she welcomed

We came in and sat our bags on the floor and took our shoes off. "So How was the drive?" She asked.

"It was okay I guess" I say. I was so happy to see mom I wish I can stay with her for while.

"Who is hungry?" She asked.

"Me!" I squeal happily.

Mom went in the kitchen and she made some of her vegetable soup. Me and Alex's favorite growing up.

We are a little while later. "Alex can I talk to you in private" she says

"Of course" Alex said getting up

"Jaxon please go to your room for a minute me and Alex got to talk" mom said

I went up to my childhood room. It looked the same way I left it. It had a bunch of childhood memories in it which made me smile.

Alex POV

"What do you need to talk with me mom?" I say

"I've been thinking, I'm gonna let Jaxon stay with me for awhile possibly get custody of him again" mom said in a serious tone

"That's fine, he misses you so much, I'm sure he will be happy" I say

My brother might be moving in with mom. He won't get his normal checkups and so on. But I want what's best for him. Living with mom.

Once we were finished talking I go up to Jaxons room and knock on the door

JAXON POV

"Come in" I say opening the door

Alex looks like he wants to cry a bit.

"What's wrong" I say letting him in. Alex sat on the bed

"Mom is taking custody of you again" Alex says on the verge of tears

"Oh" I say and sit next to Alex and snuggle in his arms.

"I want what's best for you" Alex says

"I know but I'm gonna miss you so much" I say and hug him.

"But it will be better for you. You should stay with mom for while. I can come visit you can come visit and I'll stay in contact with you" Alex explains

"I know I love you so much Alex" I say letting a tear shed

Alex wipes my tear away. "I love you too" Alex says
