Ch 46- Dad visits

**a few weeks later**

ALEX POV

I was at work and I was checking who my next patient was and the chart says 'Oliver Wilson'

You've got to be kidding me.

I grab his file, he was a first time patient at my office. I go out and lone behold it was him. Part of me was hoping it was another person name Oliver Wilson.

He stands up. "Alexander!"

"Hi dad" I say

I lead him back to the exam room.

"Take a seat" I say

He takes a seat.

Boy this is weird, as I'm about to be examining a dentists teeth, and he is my dad.

"Any aches or pains?" I ask and place a bib on him.

"Actually, Yea a small toothache" he admits

"Okay, first I'm going to take xrays" I say

I take xrays and 5 minutes later they are up in my computer.

"Dad, it looks like you've got a small cavity is that the reason you came and saw me?" I question

"Yea" he admits "and I wanted to see how you were doing"

"Well, I guess I'm just gonna fix your tooth then you can be on your way" I say as I prepare my tools.

I hope he doesn't judge me on my dental ability.

I recline him back and position the light and apply gloves and mask

"So how is Jaxon?" He asks

"Fine" I say "now open"

I grab my mirror and explorer

He opens his mouth and I immediately locate the sore tooth.
I tap on it and he winces a bit

"Sorry" I say

"It okay" he says

I grab the numbing jelly and place it in the gum line of where the sore tooth is.
"I'll just let that sit for a minute and I'll give you the injection" I say

He tenses up a bit. "Sorry I'm not the biggest fan of needles but I'm tough"

"He's it won't hurt a lot" I say and grab the needle

"Open wide" I say

He opened wide and I injected the needle nice and easy and painlessly as possible.
Then take it out when I finish.

"It wasn't that bad was it?" I question

"No" he says

I let that sit for a few minutes then I drill and fill the cavity. He didn't move at all he was perfectly still.

I return the chair to normal state then remove the bib and take my gloves and mask off.

"Your all set thank you for stopping in" I say in a professional manner. I wasn't in the mood to talk to him.

"I wanna take you and your brother out for dinner and talk" he says

"Why?" I ask and look at him

"I just wanna talk to my sons again, it been a long while" he says

"Fine we will come, where are we having dinner?" I ask

"The Olive Garden" he says

"Okay that's fine good thing Jax loves Olive Garden" I chuckle and stand up

I lead him out then finish my day off

I hope this dinner isn't gonna be awkward.

(A/n) sorry for the short chapter. I'm losing interest in this book. I'm thinking of ending the book at 50 chapters I hope you understand
