DJ’s POV

 

I woke up with a wide smile on my face. I just had the best night of my life. Making love to the girl I love dearly was the best thing that ever happened to me. Oh yeah, next to meeting her ofcourse.

 

Nagbihis ako at bumaba. I’ll cook breakfast for her. I know she’s sore. Im her first kaya for sure masakit yun paggising. Cooking for her is the least I could do.

 

“Anak.” Nakasalubong ko si Daddy after kong magluto paakyat. “Magbihis ka. We need to talk about something.”

 

“Pero Dad, si Kath nasa taas pa po eh –“ He cut me off.

 

“This is urgent, son. Lets go. Pupunta tayo sa bahay ng kuya mo.”

 

I wonder how something is so urgent. May bahay kasi si Kuya RJ na sarili. Pinatayo niya yun, gusto daw niya pag nagkapamilya siya ay ready na ang bahay. Kaya naman ngayon, asawa at anak nalang ang kulang sa bahay niya.

 

Dali-dali akong nagbihis. I didnt bother waking her up. Pagod at antok pa siya. I’ll just call her later. Pero sinabi ko sa driver na sabihan niya na kumain si Kath bago umalis at ihatid niya sa bahay at sa school kung hindi ako aabot. Baka kasi mahaba ang kailangan pag-usapan namin nila Daddy.

 

Pagdating namin dun ay nakaupo na si Ate Roanna, Kuya JC, Kuya RJ at si Mommy.

 

“What’s going on?” Napansin ko kasing umiiyak si Mommy.

 

“You have to breakup with Kath.” Yun agad ang sabi ni Daddy. Napalingon ako sakanya.

 

“WHAT?!” Napasigaw ako sa gulat. Ano daw? Nahihibang na ba sila? I’ll never breakup with her.

 

Inabot sakin ni Daddy ang envelope. Inside were pictures of us, ni Ate Roanna habang nagpaparty, si Kuya RJ sa labas ng office, si Kuya JC sa favorite hotel niya sa Makati, si Mommy at si Daddy at ako. Ako, kasama si Kath. Picture namin sa EK, picture ni Kath sa tapat ng bahay nila nung minsang hinatid ko siya. Each picture was crossed out. May malaking X sa mga pictures.

 

Kasama sa loob ng envelope ay isang pulang papel.

I read what’s written on the paper. Kumalabog yung puso ko.

 

“DJ, we dont know who are sending these pictures. Pero hindi natin ito pwedeng isawalang bahala. Obviously, this person follows us anywhere we go. At hindi ito biro.” Sabi ni Daddy.
